The week went by with the usual work routine like feeding the animals, gathering eggs, milking the cows and goats. Cleaning whatever there is to clean. Taecyeon would continue to learn horse riding with Dad.  I was fearful of joining them as I don't want to cause any more commotion. When Taecyeon had finished his lessons, he would look for me and ask me to take a break. "I am not tired. You should be taking some rest." I refused.  "No I am okay, let me help you so we can both get some rest instead."

I got close with him by now and he has become my first friend after I came back home. Not that I didn't have friends before but it was really hard befriending someone when I was so shy and quiet.

The first shooting starts today. The farm is filled with the drama crew as they are setting up the equipment around the area.

The first set is in the stable where Taecyeon is supposed to take a horse and mount it on. Dad and I are there to make sure he is doing it right. As he was taking Cappuccino out, suddenly the Director called out to him.  "That one is much better looking." He points to a black horse, Beauty, we named her after the classic story.

Dad quickly protests. "She is still not well trained yet and nobody had ridden on her before." "Do you think it can be trained before the next shoot?" The Director asked. "When will that be?" Dad asked.

"Maybe another two weeks." The PD replied. "Most probably can." Dad agreed.

"Dad, it's too soon," I said worrying his burden. I then quickly find Taecyeon over as I am shy to talk directly to the PD. Taecyeon comes over to me. "Can't we choose another horse?" I ask him in a low voice. "I am worried that Dad would not be able to train the horse on time."

"Okay, I will ask PD-him for you, Timid Mouse" he chuckles and walks away.

After talking to the PD, Taecyeon gestures me to go to him. "Would you let me ride Harvey, PD-nim said he is the next best-looking horse".

"What about Lady D? She is the pretty white one over there." I try trading the horses with him.

"No, I like Harvey too, and I don't want to ride some horse that named after a dead princess." I pout my lips and finally nod my head.

The filming continues, as he mounts on Harvey, suddenly my dear horse stirred up. I ran up to hold Harvey by the rein.

"Whoa, Harvey calm down" I command trying not to raise my voice. But then Harvey had already kicked up, I notice Taecyeon is about to fall and I rush to catch him. He lands hard on me as I try to grab him.

The crews hurry over to Taecyeon, pulling him up and checking on him. Dad is the only one that comes over to me. "Min, are you okay?" He asked as he kneels down beside me. I was brushing my left arm as it feels painful.

Taecyeon then goes over to my side "Are you okay? He asked. I nodded and replied. "I am okay, are you? "

"Yes, I think so." He then helps me up but I yelled in pain as he pulls on my left shoulder. Dad was concerned as he asked "Does your arm hurt? It's better to send you to town's clinic."

"Let me take you there." Taecyeon offered.

I don't think it's that serious so I refused to go. "It's okay, I think I will be fine," Dad tells me to go back and rest. Taecyeon insists on walking me back. "You better go back to the stable, I will be okay," I said as I worry I might have caused them to stopped filming.

"Why did you catch me, don't you know you would get hurt instead?" He said sounding like Dad. "I just rush in without thinking, I don't want you to get hurt either" I explained "You have saved me twice. You made me feel like I owe you my life."

"No, you don't owe me anything. I just don't want to lose a friend." "And sacrifice yourself?" He said out as I sit down on the front porch. "Like I said I was not thinking. Now you better go back"

He returns to the set. I sat down there for a while and I felt uneasy not doing anything. I did not feel like being alone in the house. So I made some honey tea and put into two tumblers trying not to move my left arm too much.

They were on the field already as I walk out. They are now filming Taecyeon as he rides on Harvey. I guess Dad must have made the horse calm down. Dad was standing behind the camera watching over. I stopped by his side and give him the honey tea. "You shouldn't move your arm too much," Dad said as he pats on my back. "I am okay, Dad"

When Taecyeon takes a break, I went over and gave him the tea while he is being made up. He drank it immediately. "Thanks, it really gives me energy. But you should not use your left arm too much." He, in turn, said the same thing as Dad, while furrowing his brows. "I am fine. Don't worry." I said.  

The shoot ended only in the evening. Dad takes out a bottle of ointment and orders me to sit down as he intended to put on my arm. "It's okay, Dad I can do it myself," I said as I didn't want to trouble him. "Okay then, I will prepare dinner instead. You need to rest that arm." He said and went to the kitchen.

I was already rubbing on my arm when Taecyeon comes out after freshening up. He sits down at my side immediately. "I will do it for you." He said as he pours some of the ointment into his hand and starts rubbing gently on my left arm.

I felt shy as he touches my arm, I felt a little tingling in my heart and I am not sure why. "It's okay, l can do it myself." I protested still feeling so shy that I didn't look at him. "Shut up and don't move, Timid Mouse. I felt bad seeing you get hurt because of me. So please let me help." He ordered.

He starts rubbing downward until finally, he grabbed hold of my hand. He then holds my hand up to inspect it. "You are doing too much work. Your hands had become so rough." He muttered without letting go of my hand.

I feel hot in my cheeks. I try pushing his hand away but forget that my arm still hurts "Argh... "I whine. He holds my other hand and gazes into my face. He tugs away a few strands of my hair from face. I felt so shy and looked down.

"Thanks, Min." He murmured as he hugs me for a brief moment. "I better help your Dad since the daughter is a handicap now." He laughed as he starts moving towards the kitchen. "I am not a handicap,became," I said trying to raise my voice.

I sat on the front porch again after dinner, it seems like it has become our usual routine as I sat there waiting for Taecyeon to come out. He sat down by my side after washing the dishes as he insisted I don't do any work for the rest of the night. I brought a novel to be read but instead I was looking up into the skies full of stars.

"What are you doing?" he asked. "I am just looking at the stars." I replied. "Find anything interesting?" He asked again while looking at his script. I looked back at him, "Practicing your lines again?"

"Uh huh, I just got a new script today. Help me okay?"

"So you will be leaving tomorrow?" I ask. "Yup! After I have my horse riding lesson." He replied.

I heaved a sigh. "Guess I have to return to silent mode again." "You can still call me anytime, you have a phone right?"

"Which I hardly use." I muttered. "Give me your phone." I take my phone out and hand it to him." He quickly tapped on it.

"There, I set my number in already. But I will come back here from time to time as I need to practice increasing my horse power." "Huh? You are not racing a car." I chuckled as he said that. Then he took out his phone and set my number in. "Remember to call whenever you are in a talk mode." I nodded as I smile at him.

Being who I am, I will not have the courage to call him first but he got me into the habit of searching his news on the net instead. I guess he converted me into becoming a Hottest.
