My Heart Beats After Thousands of Years"What the hell were you thinking?!" I repeated angrily.
Soojung didn't say anything, but looked down in shame.
"Look at me and answer my question!" I yelled forcibly. "Do you know how much worse it could have been if I didn't show up in time?" I raised my hands incredulously for emphasis.
Still she did not answer and stayed quiet with her head even lower; her jet black hair acted as a curtain hiding her face from sight.
I started to pace back and forth breathing heavily. "If your father finds out about this, he would be livid. You and I would be as good as dead!" I shouted, nostrils flared. "If anything were to happen to you on my watch, your father would send me to hell and then some. He would not be able to cope with the loss. Do you really want to put your father through that pain?!"
I sighed, ruffling my hair in the hopes that since I got that out of my systems I would start to relax a bit and return to my normal state instead of my rather borderline unleash-the-full-demon, I had going a while ago fighting and yelling at the princess.
It was silent for a while, giving me time to revert back to a more gentle manner. Sniffling sounds came from the princess and soon those sniffling turned into sobbing.
, I gone goofed and made her cry. I don't know what's worse now, having the Emperor kill me for nearly getting his daughter harmed, or yelling at her, or making her cry. I could never win.
