"What the hell were you thinking?!" I repeated angrily.

Soojung didn't say anything, but looked down in shame.

"Look at me and answer my question!" I yelled forcibly. "Do you know how much worse it could have been if I didn't show up in time?" I raised my hands incredulously for emphasis.

Still she did not answer and stayed quiet with her head even lower; her jet black hair acted as a curtain hiding her face from sight.

I started to pace back and forth breathing heavily. "If your father finds out about this, he would be livid. You and I would be as good as dead!" I shouted, nostrils flared. "If anything were to happen to you on my watch, your father would send me to hell and then some. He would not be able to cope with the loss.
