I've been alive for far too long.

How long you might ask?

Years, decades, centuries; far too long to keep count.

How did I survive until this moment of time? To answer such a simple question, it is because I am immortal in the most un-holiest, impure of ways.

I am a monster immortalized in fairytales, turned into a love story romance that all young girls dream to be in, made into stars on Hollywood on pedestals, and made to be feared but loved.

I am a vampire.

How to sum up my (long) life until the present where I am with you now. My arms wrapped around you securely, holding your body closer to mine as you breathe evenly asleep, half of  your body on top of me after a night of love and lust.

Your warmth heats even my most icebergs of skins and makes my forever-still heart beat like it used to before I became the monster that lurked around the night and instilled fear and awe into everyone.

Sweeping away the stray strands of hair from your face, I gently laid a kiss upon your crown, sighing in content.

This is what it means to love and be loved.

Before I closed my eyes to assume as if Hypnos was able to touch me, I softly whispered, "I love you Krystal."
