The loud call made my eyes snap open

" It’s 7 am already wake up "

 Turning to the left I found Dara, standing next to the bed, frowning.

How come she reminds me so much of grandma ?

She just shook her head at me, her undo shaking at the movement " You don’t want to be late right ? " 

Good lord …. How I hate waking up in the morning.

Stirring a bit I stretched my arms and legs as she went to the bathroom.

" I shower first " She said before the door slammed

What time did we even sleep yesterday ? 1 am ? 

We just kept on talking and laughing and I totally forgot the next day was my first day of work. I decided not to tell her about the stranger that followed me, she was already worried as it is. 

I went to the kitchen with heavy steps, still half asleep.

Coffee, I need coffee

" Daraaaa " I called " Where is the coffee ? " 

No answer

I went closer to the bathroom and only heard the sound of running water.

I swear she’s almost deaf … Even nana has a better hearing than her.

Grumbling I made my way back to the kitchen.

Dara’s POV

I could hear her calling but I honestly needed some time to think.

Her working in Tora’s Corp is already bad enough but what if he founds out ? What if he will try something ?

Still. I can’t force her to quit.

I know and I understand that this is what she wants, and I could still remember how happy I felt when she told me she wanted to be a lawyer. 

At least she would get away from him.

She is the sister I never had, my other half … I could be myself with her, show my true emotions.

Her happiness matters to me … A lot. 

Now. Everything I worked so hard for , what WE worked so hard for is at stake.

Sighting, I threw my head back, enjoying how the hot water felt on my skin, calming my tense muscles from the stress.

I can’t let this happen, no matter what.

I will protect her
