I was close enough on feeling too much excitement the moment my feline eyes crack open. Truthfully speaking, I had no idea why. I just felt my blood rush through my veins in an unfathomable positive way. This feels new. It felt new in my system. I decided to disdain the weird feeling I got and reached for my phone on the bedside table, kicking off the heavy quilt off me.

6:14 am.

“!” I hissed under my breath as I rushed towards the bathroom.

It took me good ten minutes to finish showering before waking my other roommate who’s still in deep slumber. He was wrapped with a thick cotton blanket like a baby, snoring his soul out. He seems peaceful but he’s so damn noisy.

“Hyung, get up.” I sleepily muttered, loud enough to make him shift on his bed. He mumbled his infamous favorite ‘five more minutes’ line in his disturbed sleep and covered his face with a fluffy pillow.

“Five more minutes your and you’ll be in deep .” I rumbled and got my uniform for the day. As expected, he quickly scrambled in his sleep and shot right up, heading directly to the bathroom without muttering a single word. How weird can he be?

As soon as we got out our room, my sight was greeted by a very familiar door. Our neighbor. Once again, I felt my blood rush through my veins, nearly giving me a heart attack. It’s Jonghyun’s room. A smile crept up on my face at the simple thought of him.

“Let’s go?” Onew suddenly asked, interrupting my train of thoughts. Thoughts of you. He locked our door from the inside and silently shut it close, leaving us standing in the dim lighted hallway. He pulled me with him towards the exit, taking few long strides only a person with long legs could take. That short-legged of a guy must be having a hard time right now if he’s in my place. I chuckled at the silly thought.

“You seem happy today?” I assumed it wasn’t a question since I know happiness is obviously plastered all over my face. I’m not hard to read, for all I care. I only gave him a light chuckle in reply.

“May I know what the reason is?” He asked.

 “Or is it a who?” My breath suddenly hitched at his unexpected interrogation but quickly gained my composure once we laid a step out of the dormitory building.

“Uhh..” I scratched the back of my neck and shyly grinned.

“It’s nothing, hyung. R-really.” I tried to hide the excitement-slash-embarrassment in my voice but miserably failed as started to stutter.

“Oh really?” He sarcastically asked with a playful grin plastered on his face. Ugh, this hyung. As much as I wanted to punch him in the face, I just can’t. He seem to be nice of a brother to even receive that.

“Well,” I started.

“Well?” If only I could just erase that teasing grin off his face.

“I’m just happy I found a new friend. That’s all.” I truthfully stated, still avoiding possible eye contact from my annoying roommate.

“Oh yeah? Who is it?” Will you just stop bombarding me questions?!

“What time does our class start?” I innocently asked.

“Changing the subject, are we?” I tried avoiding the topic but failed miserably. We rounded on a corner, nearly approaching the not-so-huge building of our department.

“It’s—“

“KEYYY!!” Someone suddenly yelled from nowhere. I frantically looked around to find the source until I saw a very familiar figure running towards us. It’s a dinosaur.

“Jonghyun hyung!” I practically yelled in excitement as he almost crushed me in a very suffocating embrace.  I never thought this once cold-hearted guy would break the protective walls of his. He finally let go of me, giving me a chance to gasp for oxygen.

“Are you planning on killing me soon?” I sarcastically questioned him. He seemed to be astounded with my sudden quirky attitude and quickly apologized.

“Yah! Yah! It’s fine you know. I was just kidding.” I whole heartedly laughed at his dorkiness, earning a light smack on my head.

“Ow! That hurts, you dino!” I grunted.

“ for you, kitty.” He shot back and playfully let his tongue out.

“You—“ Our little bickering was cut off when a sudden fraud cough interrupted us.

“Hyung!” Jonghyun and I both yelled in surprise.

“Yeah, yeah. I’m still here, if you’ve forgotten.” Onew explained and eyed me teasingly but I just scoffed in return.

“Good morning, hyung. How are you?” Jonghyun joyfully greeted him. I fought the urge to roll my eyes and bite the dorkiness out of them, and just impatiently tapped my feet.

“I’m fine, Jonghyun.” Both chuckled like a child, earning a wide genuine and proud grin from me. My hyungs are the best, aren’t they? Jonghyun sent me a side long heart melting glance, then back to Onew. I could feel my heart beating faster than normal but I couldn’t pinpoint the cause. Was it because of him? I shook my head to rather push the crazy thought out of my mind and focused on my two hyungs.

“So, Key.” Onew suddenly faced me, interrupting me in my own train of thoughts for the nth time.

“What is it, hyung?” I asked him, playing innocent.

“What is it we’re talking about before Jonghyun came?” He asked me out of nowhere, emphasizing every syllable of Jonghyun’s name. I carefully glanced at the latter, curious at his reaction, but he seem neutral, still wearing that famous innocent heart melting grin of his.

“It’s..”

“What, Key? I can’t hear you.” Onew teased once again. . It was the most heart racing moment in my life, ever. I didn’t know why, but my heart just feels like it’s going to pop out off my chest anytime soon. I clenched my fist causing my knuckles to be pale as white snow. This is so embarrassing.

“Aish! Hyung, we’re gonna be late!” I abruptly yelled while flailing my hands in annoyance. As if on cue, the school bell suddenly roared to life, loud enough to make anyone’s ear fall. We noticed the school guards shooing other students inside their respective buildings, not wanting them to escape the school grounds. This is a freaking university. Why are they freaking taking the liberty to cut classes away from us? I inwardly hissed as the three of us ran towards our room for our dear lives. As usual, we were welcomed by the unwavering noise of our classmates. They never seem to stop talking, though. I glanced at my watch.

7:15am.

We came just in time, as the professor shortly arrived a few minutes after us.

“Places, students. Places!” The terrifying teacher once yelled and all of them shuffled to their proper places. I spared Jonghyun a side long glance and I noticed he didn’t even flinch at the unnerving commotion. In fact, he just smirked. I carefully lifted my feet up as I let it carry me to my rightful place and sat on my seat with an inaudible huff. Thank God I’ve got friends. I bit my lip to prevent myself from smiling like an idiot but badly failed. I tried keeping my composure by inhaling deeply for air, but still failed. I was just too happy to keep my silence this time. I glanced at my right, and there he was. My seatmate.

“Good morning, Ryeowook!”

A freaking update. LOL. Missed me? :))

Well, I just wrote this. 2 hours is enough for a short update, eh? Hihi. I hope you liked it.

I know I and all.. but believe me, I love writing even though I'm not good.

This is my freaking past time.
