Chapter Two
Reclaiming His Lost PrincessHe decided to break the stretching silence.
“I should probably go and look for my friends,” then smiles briefly at the host of the party.
“I’m really sorry Kris. This is supposed to be a way to let you wind out. I really don’t know that she’s already back. I should probably interrogate my father since he is the one who made some changes on my list of guest on the last minute,” Jessica sighs.
“Just don’t tire your father much about your rants. He is already old.”
“He may be old, but he is still as nosy as a woman could be,” Jessica shrugs.
Just before Kris could leave her, a dashing man in black approached them. He finally noticed the blushing dreamy look that crossed Jessica’s face. The approaching guy proceeds to give the lady a hug and a kiss before turning to face him, his arms wrapped protectively around her waist.
“So, love who could be this gorgeous guy in front of you?” he turns to Jessica but Kris caught that warning tone in his voice.
“Don’t be too jealous; he is Kris by the way,” then she turns to the taller one, “Kris, this is the surprise I planned to tell you. This is my fiancé, Heechul.”
Kris reaches for a handshake which the introduced guy returns.
“What’s with fiancés talk right now that it seems to be filling the night of your party eh?” Kris grins at the blushing host of the party.
“I don’t know; go on and look for them. They might be just lurking near the buffet table,” then she effectively dismisses Kris who chuckles at the possessiveness of her fiancé.
‘I should probably hasten my way to be part of the engaged circle,’ he thought as he tries to look for his bunch of friends.
He spotted them up on the balcony of the house that overlooks the party.

“Are you the invited VIP’s of the party?” he chuckles as all of them turns to welcome him.
“Finally, you decided to get out of your cave and meet some social animals,” Baekhyun grins, welcoming him with a one- arm hug which the others mirrored.
“So where’s the queen of the group?” Kris asks, noticing the obvious absence of the only female one in their group.
“She has just returned from her medical convention two days ago and now she is so much ‘busy’ as she proclaims it. I don’t know if she is avoiding us or just playing with us,” Luhan comments, sipping on his wine.
Just when Kris is about to point out the absence of the youngest among them, Tao comes in a rush.
