Chanyeol have been so uneasy since that night Sooyoung babbles about remembering bits of her forgotten memories. The doctor clearly said that it will be a miracle if she will remember those and he is not a fan of miracles as well; especially about her recovering those memories.

‘That stupid collaboration ruined everything. In no time, that guy will surely feed her those memories. I need to stop that,’ he thought as he grabs his phone to make an overseas call.

Baekhyun has just received a call from Kris about the sudden reunion at his studio that late. He checks the clock, 10:47 in the evening and they suddenly planned a reunion. He just grabs his car keys and left his pad before they start bombarding him with messages.

Along the way, he suddenly remembers what Xiumin said, ten years ago, the day after Kris and Sooyoung have been found at Luhan’s rest house.

*Flashback*

Baekhyun and Tao found Xiumin at the green house, leaning on one of the trees.

“Hey,” Baekhyun hands him an ice pack as they settle beside him.

“What exactly happened that Luhan suddenly went berserk at you?” Tao asks as Xiumin presses the ice pack on the corner of his lips.

“I can’t blame him for doing so; but what Kris and Sooyoung did is actually futile. The history of their parents is not something readily narrated,” Xiumin started.

“What do you mean?” Baekhyun raises a brow, curiosity getting the best of him.

“My mom told me about what happened before between their parents. I mean, I am not sure as well if Mom is really telling the truth or not, but still,” Xiumin pauses which made Baekhyun whine in protest.

“Come on, spill it!” he insists.

“Kris’s father, Mr. Gregory had an affair with Sooyoung’s real mother-“Xiumin started.

“What? You mean Sooyoung and Kris are siblings? Mrs. Yoonsoo had an affair with Mr. Gregory?” Tao interrupts.

“Will you please let me finish?” Xiumin eyes him which silenced the younger one.

“I am talking about Sooyoung’s real mother. Mr. Jisun’s sister, Hye Young,” Xiumin clears.

“You mean, Mr. Jisun adopted Sooyoung?” Baekhyun asks this time.

“Yeah, he adopted her right after his sister died after giving birth to her. Hye Young got married on other man after Jisun broke her relationship with Gregory. Apparently, mom doesn’t know the reason why. But then, when Hye Young had an accident with her husband, Jisun was not around at the hospital. Gregory decided to take over the operation to save Hye Young and the child in her stomach which was Sooyoung despite Jisun’s order that they wait for him so he can take over the operation.

“Hye Young’s husband was declared dead on arrival and everyone in the hospital are working on saving Hye Young. But her body was already weak even before she was rushed to the hospital that right after Sooyoung was operated from her, she finally breathed her last. Jisun was devastated and startedblaming Gregory which eventually led for the former to hate the latter. And I think you will get from that why Gregory doesn’t want Kris to be with Sooyoung.” Xiumin finishes as the two stares back at him with wide surprised eyes.

“You mean Mr. Gregory was a former doctor?” Tao asks into which Xiumin nods in agreement.

“But, isn’t that a bit too much? Kris and Sooyoung has nothing to do about their past, why include them?” Baekhyun asks.

Xiumin just shrugs his shoulder.
