"Hyung, they're being awfully quiet-"

"Of course they are you idiot they're tied up!" I cut him off.

At that moment, Jeanne shifted in the sidecar next to him. Yesung was looking around worriedly, his normally small eyes blown up so that they looked as if they would fall out of his head.

"Blindfold the boy" i told him

"But hyung, the roa-"

"Now you idiot!"

Mud clung to our clothes as we unmounted from our bikes and shut off the motors. Silence sliced through the pines like steel blades.

"Are we there yet Boss?"

"A little more, we'll go by foot from now on. Then, it's go time."

I pointed my gun up to the sky, cocked it, then sent an earsplitting blast through the trees.

Taeyang POV:

The sound of a gunshot sent everyone's mood down into a solemn silence.

We were all thinking the same thing.

i didn't let myself think. if i did that, all hell would break loose and i wouldn't find it in myself to lead the others in the rest of this rescue mission.

Everyone has stony expressions, their usually happy aura depleted as their hearts sank down to the bottom of their feet.
