“So, they tried to burn this place up and you fought. And during all that madness, you lost yourself and attacked everybody. Killing the boy as well?” She asked, for a confirmation. But her head begged Hwanuk to deny it. Her mind was screaming for her to leave, to stay ignorant. 

“Yes.” he said, shaking with guilt and ghastly sorrow. A despaired moan slipped from her lips as she pulled her hair back and clawed at her scalp. No she said, no no no no no no!! She chanted. Why? Why now? How? Endless  horrible questions drowned her mind as she walked back and forth. 

She could not even look at him. 

“I was just trying to scare them off, i was just trying to make them leave…” Hwanuk explained, to himself rather than his girlfriend. As if he was the one throwing blames upon himself. As if he was so close to  the verge of punishing his own flesh with death or worser things .
