Taeyeon’s POV:

I felt Onew stiffen up in shock for a moment as I pressed my lips to his. I leaned back and Onew was quiet for a while.

“Onew? Say something please.” I asked worriedly. He stayed silent for another few moments before saying:

“What was that for?” It was then my turn to be silenced.

“Mwoh?” I asked.

“Why did you kiss me?” I sighed and said:

“I like you Onew. I really like you.” His eyes widened and he asked:

“You’re being serious? You want to be in a relationship with me?” I nodded happily and saw a wide smile stretch across his face.

“I do. I really do.” I blushed and looked down in embarrassment. I heard Onew chuckle and I felt him wrap his arm around my waist. I looked up in surprise and a second later he pressed his lips on mine. I smiled and rested my hands on his chest.

He broke away and said:

“This is just... unreal.”

“How so?” I asked.

“You’re always so serious I didn’t think you’d want a boyfriend at all.”

“Well I didn’t before but I guess you changed my mind. You showed me that I can trust somebody other than my sisters.” She grinned at me and I grinned back although I had a guilty, sick feeling in my stomach. I don’t know how I’m going to betray her if she says things like that. I leaned my forehead against hers and said:

“I’m glad I did; I’m so happy.” She blushed cutely and stepped back.

“I don’t know why I’m being like this; I’m just being silly.” I was about to step forward and hug her when we heard a loud boom. We both turned in shock and ran to the edge of the roof.

“What was that?” I asked.

“I don’t know; it came from that building there.” She pointed to a tall skyscraper that stretched quite high up in the sky but it was still shorter than our building. We waited for a moment until we saw someone being thrown out of the top floor. We heard the glass shatter; heard the man’s scream as he quickly descended. He disappeared behind a building and we heard the car alarms go off.

We jumped back in shock and Taeyeon covered her hand with in shock.

“What happened?” She asked.

“I don’t know; let’s go see what happened but be ready to fight in case we run into someone not so friendly.” She nodded and as we climbed down from the tall building and across the lower roofs we both readied our weapons. We circled the sight before coming down to see the body.

“We don’t have long someone will have called the police. We need to be gone before they come.” I said quickly.

Taeyeon slipped on a pair of gloves before throwing some to me. I snapped them on before examining the body. I looked in his pocket and found a note that said:

I dropped the note in shock and stumbled back. Taeyeon looked at me curiously and I beckoned her over. She read the note and her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
