After those few days, I started going back to work, and I visited Appa only after work.

"How's your father?" Jungmin asked as we were having a break.

"He's.. not really that great but, I guess he's okay. His condition still isn't stable," I answered, poking at my phone.

He put his arm around me to comfort me.

"He'll be okay," he said, smiling.

I forced a smile back at him.

"Bubble! Your boyfriend's here!" Choco shouted, running into the kitchen.

"Yah, he's not my boyfriend, urgh," I said, frustrated.

"He asked you to hurry! He said your dad's woke up from his coma!" she started jumping up and down.

"What?!" I screamed. I took off my apron and dashed out.

"Mr Kim, I have to go!" I said as I passed by him on the way out.

He smiled and let me go off.

Kiseop was waiting outside the cafe.

"Is it true?!" I jumped up and down.

He nodded.

Mr and Mrs Lee picked us up and we got to the hospital.

I raaaaan all the way to the ward.

"Appa!" I screamed when I saw him.

"J-jiyoung," he whispered, and slowly held his arms out.

I ran to him and hugged him softly.

Tears of joy started falling off my cheeks.

Finally, after my prayers, he woke up.
