Another 6-7 y.o Sooyeol

Starting with a family moved in beside his apartment, Sungyeol was happily rushing to greet his new friend when he heard the new family next door seemed to have a son around his age. But all he got was a cold stare and a short statement ‘you look like Dooly’. Sungyeol never got so irritated before and it was because of his new neighbor, Kim Myungsoo. When he thought he would never ever talk to that boy again, the next day, he found the latter in his living room. Apparently, both of Myungsoo’s parents were working and no one watched over him. Since leaving a six years old boy alone was kind of dangerous, they asked their neighbor, Sungyeol’s mom in this case who’s a normal housewife, to watch over their son. It was so awkward between them, Sungyeol, who’s a bit older, sat quietly, watching the television while the latter was staring at him. It was annoying him to no end, but he’s already promised to himself that he wouldn’t talk to Myungsoo ever again.

“Hey,” Myungsoo spoke with his flat tone only to be ignored by the elder. “Hey,” he said again.

“It’s Sungyeol,” Sungyeol said without taking a glance.

“Oh. Sungyeol,” the younger repeated. Silence was lingering again. “Sungyeol,” he said again.

“What?”

“I’m sorry,” the boy said out of the blue, causing Sungyeol’s big doe eyes got two times bigger.
