It’s been a couple months since the first time he saw that tall lanky male who had been watching him and the other kids playing from behind the big tree. His friends told him that it was Lee Sungyeol, the son of their school’s director, even told him not to get any trouble with him because the boy was apparently weak, so they warned him. Yet, Myungsoo thought differently. It seemed like the rich boy wanted to play with them since each time their eyes met, the taller male always looked away as if he was caught staring. Couldn’t hold it any longer, that one afternoon, when he was about to play tag with his friends, he came up to the latter. “Lee Sungyeol, right?” the eight years old boy asked, earning a hesitant nod from the other. “I’m Myungsoo. Let’s play together,” he said with a friendly smile.

The slightly elder boy seemed hesitant for a moment, looking up timidly, “Is it really okay?”

“Hm..” Myungsoo looked at his friends, then yelling at them, “GUYS, IT’S OKAY FOR HIM TO JOIN US, RIGHT?” the other kids looked at each other for a moment before eventually nodding at him. “See? It’s okay. Kkaja!” he said enthusiastically, holding the latter’s hand and pulled him, running toward the others.

“W-Wait!!” Sungyeol yelped, trying hard to keep up with Myungsoo’s fast steps the best he could.

And now, after so many years passed, the two had grew into handsome men in their twenties and still inseparable like before ever since that day. In fact, they’ve became a couple despite how society tended to see them weirdly.
