Jonghyun and yoona continued on their next destination of filming, haeundae beach.

 

They are walking along the beach, until finally they reach their lunch spot..

A table and two seat, right next to the beach...

It was a picturesque scene, just like what you would have seen it in pictures and postcards. In short, it was a dream location. 

 

But somehow, yoona noticed.. Jonghyun's mind was all there.

She caught him daydreaming or not paying attention to what she was talking, and when yoona asked whats wrong, he just said nothing

 

"I will wait until the filming is done, and then i will force him to tell me" yoona think in her head.

 

And so the filming went on smoothly until finally its time for it to end.

 

"Ok everyone! Thats a wrap for today. We will continue our filming next week, good job to everyone" the PD said

Everyone greeted each other goodbye before the crew went on their way leaving yoona and jonghyun.

 

"So! Spill the beans!! Whats wrong!!" Yoona said while putting her arm on her waist.

"What do you mean..." Jonghyun replied, seemingly still reluctant to talk more

"Cmon jongie-ah... Its just us now, no camera, no one around. You can tell me" yoona said as she grabs jonghyun's arm.

"Ani..... Its nothing..... Its just that.... " jonghyun was talking when yoona cut him and said "its bout the dinner tonight isnt it?"

Jonghyun looked surprised, she didnt expect yoona to guess what he was thinking

"How did you....." Jonghyun asked in his bewilderment

"Its me.... Off course i know you!" Yoona said while grinning proudly

 

"You know, if you really dont want to, we can always not go..." Yoona said, starting to feel bad for saying yes earlier

"Its kinda hard not to go when the dinner place is actually where im staying..." Jonghyun said

"Wahhhh????? The main house is your house???" Yoona shriek in surprise

"Well duh...... Where else would i stay...." Jonghyun teased yoona

"Yah!! How would i know!" Yoona pouted 

"Anyways... Now you know, there is no escaping the dinner.... And you are coming with me!" Jonghyun ordered yoona

"But but... I gotta be back to seoul fr filming..." Yoona argued

"Dont worry, you will get to your schedules on time.. Even early... Trust me..." Jonghyun assured yoona

"...... Ok...." She gave up... Arguing is pointless she knew....

 

Jonghyun had a chaffeur came and picked him and yoona to the house.

 

"Wwwuuuuuaahhhhhhh!!!! This house is like much much MUCH! Bigger than your house in seoul, if that is even possible!!" Yoona said in awe

Jonghyun smiles looking at his excited girlfriend looking around left and right around the mansion.

 

"Come, i need you to meet someone" jonghyun said while reaching his arm out.

Yoona quickly grabs it, and the pair going into a room with lots tv screens of what appears to be camera feeds of the house.

 

"This is security room" jonghyun explain.

"And this is kim hyung joon hyung-nim.. I learnt everything i know bout self defense from him" jonghyun introduced a fit looking middle age man wearing a black suit

"Oh! Annyeonghaseyo! Im yoona-imnida" yoona bowed 90 degrees and introduced herself politely.

 

"He will be guarding you from now on" jonghyun said to yoona suddenly

"???? A...aniya.... Its not necessary... Im fi....." Yoona tried to refused politely when suddenly jonghyun cut her in a serious way 

 

"Its not a discussion... " 

 

Yoona looked at jonghyun and was met by his burning eyes.. She sighed and said "ok.... Ok.... Gosh..... You are so over protective...." Yoona grumbled

 

Jonghyun just ignored her, he said " also make sure you learn some basic self defense technique, you never know when it comes in handy.."

"Ok" yoona said, she thenTurn to the bodyguard and said as she bowed "please take care of me from now on"

Jonghyun also bowed and said to him "please take care of her well,  hyung-nim"

 

He patted jonghyun back and smiled lightly. "Dont worry, i will make sure nothing happens to mrs lee"

Yoona just looked down with a red cheek "gosh..... Mrs lee.... I like the sound of it... Argghhhhh what are you thinking yoona!!! You are just a  girlfriend, a girfriend!!" Her mind is running wild

 

"Hyung!!! She isnt my wife......" Jonghyun argued with a slight blushing face..

 

"Yet...." Jonghyun suddenly said

 

"Yahhh!!!!" Yoona smacks jonghyun hard on her embarassment.

 

"Ok ok... You kids keep those mushy stuff for yourself" the bodyguard said as he returned to his work

The pair left the room with red faces..

 

For the rest of the afternoon, jonghyun showed yoona around the mansion. 

Apparently, this is the very place where jonghyun was born and until the day he finally left. He showed her around his room, the garden and other places until finally, one by one jonghyun's relatives arrived.

 

Jonghyun and yoona was in jonghyun's room. The maid kept telling jonghyun each time one family member comes. Jonghyun kept ignoring them.  Until finally the maid told him that everyone has arrived....

 

"Jongie-ah... " yoona called jonghyun softly, knowing her boyfriend reluctance..

"I know... Lets go..." Jonghyun said, signalling yoona to go with him

 

The couple goes down and made their way down to the dining hall. 

When they got there, yoona saw a middle two middle age couples, two young girls and a young boy. Yoona recognised one of the ahjussi as jonghyun's uncle, the one that she met at the hospital, back in australia. 

As soon as she saw got into the room, yoona immediately bowed and greeted jonghyun's uncle

 

"Oh! Yoona-yah, you're here too!" The uncle said after seeing yoona

"Come, let me introduce you to the family" 

"This is my wife lee gun pyo, my son lee chang ryeol and my and daugther lee chang ri"

Yoona looked at the people jonghyun's uncle just introduced and bowed politely while saying "annyeonghaseyo, im yoona-imnida" 

They all replied politely also, although yoona could clearly see the hate and dislike from the wife and the daughters eyes, as for the son.... Yoona could basically see him undressing her with his eyes.. It was obvious to the point where yoona had to hold jonghyun's hand to feel safe...

 

However, the uncle seemed oblivious to all this as he continued to introduced the rest of the people

"This is my younger brother and his wife, lee chung goo and lee mae ri"

"And i heard you already met their only daughter, lee hye mi" 

 

Again, yoona turned to the family and greeted them politely

Jonghyun's uncle and wife also replied politely with a sour look on their face, while to yoona's surprise. Hyemi was the only one who appear to be genuinely happy to see her

"Annyeong yoona-shi!! We meet again" hyemi said to you

"Da... Dae..." Yoona replied, seemingly taken aback by her friendliness

 

"Ok.. Ok... Thats enough with the introductions, let start dining" the uncle said

Everyone sat on the big rectangle table.. 

And one by one the food starts to come.

The atmosphere on the table was somewhat tense.. 

Jonghyun sat on his chair quitely with his usual gloomy look on his face. While the rest of the family shots him. A deadly glare once in a while.

Jonghyun's older uncle tried his best to lighten up the mood but to no avail...

Yoona however was very thankful to the fact that hyemi seemed to be very friendly to her

 

"So! Yoona-shi, what do you think of busan?" 

"Have you ever been shopping around here?" 

"You should come with me sometimes..." 

 

Hyemi kept talking and trying to make yoona comfortable.. And it kinda worked. For a while, yoona was absorbed into her conversation with hyemi, that is until jonghyun's younger uncle, chunggoo suddenly asked jonghyun

"Jonghyun-ah, have you decided on the merger proposal for our retail chain?"

"Chunggoo-ah, we dont talk business on dinner table" jonghyun's older uncle remind his brother

"Ani... Kwenchana uncle... About that... I have made up my mind" jonghyun suddenly replied

 

"We will declined the offer" jonghyun said after a moment of pause

 

Jonghyun's older uncle nodded in agreement, however his younger brother seemed far from agreeing. His face turned a little red from anger he tried his best to hold. He composed himself as best as he could befor finally speaking

 

"But why?? Dont you think the western alliance had given us a more than generous offer??"

 

"Yes it is a good offer" jonghyun replied

"In fact.. It is a very good one.... However...."

 

"I still remember appa's last wishes before he died..."

"To make sure this company... His legacy... "

"Lives on.."

 

"Breaking apart his company just for mere profit... In my opinion.. Is not the best way to honor him..."

"And so, i have made my decision not to proceed with the agreement" jonghyun concluded his explanation

 

At this point, jonghyun's younger uncle is already so upset to the point where he couldnt speak.. He just sat on his table with a red face giving jonghyun deadly glare.

 

Suddenly jonghyun's older uncle's son, changryeol said loudly "yah!! Lee jonghyun!! Who do you think you are?? You were never around before, me and uncle has been managing this company for years!! We know whats best for this company!!" 

"Changryeol!! Dont be rude!!" Jonghyun' uncle sternly told son

"But apeoji!!" He was about argue when jonghyun replied

 

"Changryeol-ah... I may not be around long... But i have done my studies..." 

"I know who will gain and loose from this deal..."

"Including the people who will gain from the personal commisions if this deal goes through..."

 

Jonghyun's younger uncle and changryeol faces turns red in shock as soon as jonghyun mentioned the commision deal.

 

The commision deal was actually a secret deal done by jonghyun's younger uncle and changryeol with the buying company, western alliance, where by if the deal goes through.. They will each get a royalty to the amount of 5% share of the estate trade... That could be worth billions of wons, since lee's retail chain, comprises of at least two dozen mall and supercenter..

This deal was done under the table without jonghyun's older uncle knowing..

And the only reason why jonghyun find out is because he hired some personal investigator to snoop around the buying company..

That is why jonghyun had been in busan alot recently

 

"What personal commision?" Jonghyun's older uncle asked

 

"Ani.. Its nothing uncle... Its just some rumours i heard" jonghyun said as he smirked at both his younger uncle and changryeol who could only shuts up..

 

Seeing her brother shuts up, changri, changryeol's sister couldnt hold her anger. She said "oppa.. You shouldnt get too upset... After all.. With his background... I doubt he could understand even if he tried..." With a sarcastic tone, clearly trying to remind jonghyun that her mom is a commoner...

 

"Changri-ah! Dont talk like that!" Suddenly hyemi scolds her

"But unnie!! Its true!! Why are you taking his side anyway!!" She argued

"There is no sides.. We are one family!!" Hyemi replied

 

"Family?... You have got to be joking."  jonghyun's older uncle's wife suddenly said as she stood up and left the dining room. Her son and daughter left the room also, but not before giving jonghyun the dirtiest look

 

Jonghyun's older uncle was speechless. He stood up and said before leaving

"Yoona-yah.. Sorry you had to witness all this, i will invite you two for lunch next time to make up for this, ok?"

 

"Dae.. kwenchana uncle.. its fine" Yoona said.

she and jonghyun stood and greet him goodbye

 

And straight after that jonghyun's younger uncle and his wife also left quickly without a goodbye..

Hyemi followed them but before leaving, she came to jonghyun and yoona and said

"Oppa..." She said to jonghyun

"I know i did alot of bad things to you in the past... I just wanna say im sorry.. And also, i want to apologise for my parents behaviour... I will try to convince them to be more reasonable..."

"Jonghyun just nodded... He was unsure whether to believe her or not..

"I have to go" hyemi said again

"Yoona-shi.. It was a pleasure to meet you, i hope we could hang out next time" 

"Dae... Off course.." Yoona said in reply

 

Hyemi then started to walk away when she suddenly turned and said to the couple,  "Be careful with changryeol and changri.. Knowing them, they will plan something..." 

 

After all the guest left, yoona and jonghyun made their way to the livingroom and threw themselves on the sofa as soon as they got there

 

"Ppphhheeeewwwww... That was tense...." Yoona said while breathing w heavy sigh of relieve

"Is it always like this?" She asked jonghyun

"This is nothing...i reckon they all holding back since you are here..." Jonghyun replied

"???? Jinja!!!! Wah....... That bad huh......" Yoona said..

 

"...... But jongie..... Do you think what hyemi said might be true?.. Bout your cousin plotting something..." Yoona asked

"Im not sure.. But knowing them... I wont rule anything out..." Jonghyun replied with a serious tone...

"Dont you think its better if you use the bodyguard for you then? You really should take care of yourself! Im fine! Im..." Yoona was on a roll when jonghyun cut her and said

"I am taking care of myself.." 

"Huh?.." Yoona looked at jonghyun with a puzzled look

 

"The only thing that could get to me is you..."

"The only thing i cant afford to loose is you..."

 

Jonghyun then move really close to yoona, he use his index finger to tap the tip of yoona's nose while saying

 

"You... "

"

Are my kryptonite..." 

 

"So.. Taking care of you, is the most important thing to me" 

 

Yoona smiles after hearing jonghyun's words.. She snuggled into his embrace and the couple spent the night comfortably...

 

 

*Meanwhile, somewhere over the pacific ocean"

 

"Jiyeonnieeeeee, are you excited bout your drama??? You get to meet your lovely jonghyun" hyomin teased jiyeon

"Ani!!! Im over him already!! He's taken now!! " jiyeon lied..

"Eeeeyyyyy!! Dont pretend like you dont care!! I saw you jumping around like an idiot when our manager told you, you are casted" hyomin continue to

"I... I did not!!!!" Jiyeon said with a slight blush realising she just got busted

 

"Yaahhh!!!!! Cant you guys be quite!!!! Im trying to sleep here" suddenly eunjung screamed from the other side

 

"Geeeezz.. Whats your problem... Miss grumpy!" Hyomin said

 

"My problem?? Its you two still acting like a bunch of little kids!! Hmppffh" eunjung snarled as she turned and faced away from the two...

"Im yoona... I swear... You will pay....." She thinks in her head

 

"But unnie... What hyomin-unnie said its true you know.. This filming might just be your golden chance to get closer to him... Besides, you told me he is always nice to you" areum joined in the conversation..

"Yes, dino-yah... You better make the most of this chance..." Hyomin said 

 

Jiyeon just stayed quite pretending not to hear both of them talk... In her mind she thinks

 

"Jonghyun-oppa... Im sorry... I tried... But i just couldnt help it......."
