Our storyChapter 32 its too late
*Hannam-dong, seoul*
A car stopped outside a large mansion...
It was jonghyun... His manager has driven him back from the police station where he was held overnight.
Jonghyun came out, he looked inside the car and said... "Thanks hyung" gloomily
"Just rest.. Ok...." The manager said sounding concerned.
"Jonghyun just nod, bow and walked off...
The manager let out a big sigh as shook his head and drove off.
Jonghyun starting to walk slowly through the mansion's huge garden..
Who's mansion you asked??...
Its his mum's ..... Eerrrr.... Its practically jonghyun's... But his mum lives in it...
She moved to seoul about a week after her husband's funeral.
Since the falling out with yoona, jonghyun always came back here after his drinking sessions..
" mum is more understanding and less naggy", he thinks
Jonghyun opened the front door... Or more like the humongous front gate thats supposed to be the door to see a couple of maids greeting him
"Annyeonghaseyo ju in-nim, would like us to prepare a lunch feast for you?"
"No....." He said as he gloomily walked up stairs to his room..
Jonghyun wobbles his way to his room.
As soon as he enters his room, he took off his blood soaked shirt and jeans... Revealing a body full of bruises and even few stitches from the stab wound...
He grab the first shirt and pants he could reach then He sat down on his bed...
He closed his eyes....
He can see yoona's smiling at him...
He can hear her screaming out his name as she giggled....
He can feel yoona's arm wrapped around his neck...
He can still feel her lips...
Suddenly he feels the sun comes through the window..
He opens his eyes and shes gone...
The reality sinks in again... And its more than he could handle...
He stood up and make his way back out...
As he walked downstairs.. He sees his mum
"Jonghyun-ah... You're leaving again...?" She asked, sounding worried
"Dae, umma..... I might be late... So dont need to wait up..." He replied and left without waiting for a response..
Jonghyun's mum sighed and looked at her son back as he slowly leaves the house.. She knew its useless to stop him... If she did he would just left and never return... At least now he stil comes home... She just hopes things will get better soon...
Jonghyun made his way to party station... Its a local bar near his place.
As he walks longer he can feel his eyes are blurry and he feels weak
"Something is not right..."jonghyun is thinking
"I feel wobbly and dizzy.... Arghh... Maybe its just cos i didnt sleep at all last night...." He thinks as he walks into the bar...
He sat down near the bar... Ordering a bottle of Hennessy XO Cognac ( my fav ^_^) and starts to drown his sorrow away....
Jonghyun loves how alcohol numbs his feeling... When he's fully drunk, he forgets all his problem...
So there he sat... Minutes turns to hours.... For 6 hours he stayed on the same spot drinking....
"Bartender-shi... Another bottle please......" Jonghyun slowly asked
"I think you've had too much already..." The bartender replied
Jonghyun shot him a cold stare.. He slammed 400.000 won onto the table..
Thats more than twice the cost for one bottle...
The bartender just shook his head.. The bartender Knows better... He knew its best not to argue with a drunken man....
He took out another bottle and handed it to him...
Jonghyun poured the drink into his glass... He was about to drink in when he feels a cold shivers coming from the door cos someone just opened it..
He turns to see... And his face suddenly changed...
"Yoona...." Jonghyun said weakly...
"Am i seeing things.... " jonghyun said again...
He's not... It is yoona...
/flashback/
After she met up yonghwa and seohyun on a caffee, the trio went over to jonghyun's umma's place.
" jonghyun went out few hours ago" mrs lee said
"Ottoke >.< he must have gone drinking again..." Yoona panicked
"Hmmm.. Eomeonim... Did he drive?" Yonghwa asked
"No... He just walked.." She replied
"I think i know where he went.... Kaja" yonghwa said
The trio greeted mrs lee goobye politely
Just when yoona was bout to leave, mrs lee said "yoona-yah... Please bring uri-jonghyun back"
Yoona turned to see mrs lee's pleading face... She quickly turned back and gave her a hug...
She then said "i will eomeonim... Dont worry"
Afterward, yoona ran to catch up with yonghwa and seohyun
"Oppa! Where do you think jonghyun is?" Yoona asked
"Just near here there's a bar. Im sure he will be there... Kaja!" Yonghwa replied"
The trip was a short one.. Just less than 5 min by car.. As soon as the car stops, yoona jumped out of the car and ran in
She stormed in to see jonghyun sitting on bar side...
Jonghyun turned to yoona almost as soon as she enters
Yoona gasp in shock at the sight of jonghyun...
"He looks so weak... His gaze is so empty.... Its all my fault......" Yoona think as she began to tear up. Seeing him like this makes her feels like her heart is ripped out of her chest..

Jonghyun cant see yoona properly... Somehow his dizziness has gotten worse... He stood up ... He wobbles a bit when suddenly he fell....
Yoona was shocked.. She quickly rushed to jonghyun...
"Jongie!!! Jongie!!! Kwenchana!!!" Yoona said
Jonghyun is not responding... Seemingly unconcious...
"Jongie!!!!!!!!" Yoona screamed in panic
Yonghwa and seohyun who came shortly after rushed straight to jonghyun too.
She cupped jonghyun's face...
"Omo!!! Jongie!!! You're burning up !!!"
"Oppa!!! Ottoke!!!" Yoona screamed to yonghwa
"Yoona-yah... Calm down... Lets carry him to the car and take him back to eomeonim's place" yonghwa said calmly
Yoona nods... She looks so worried while looking at jonghyun.... Seohyun looks at her unnie with pitty.. She pats her back to calm her down for a bit.
The trio quickly made their way to back to mrs lee's place..
Yonghwa carried the unconcious jonghyun up to his room..
Followed by the super worried yoona..
Yonghwa dropped jonghyun slowly on his bed, and then he said
"Yoona-yah. Me and hyunnie have to go now.."
"We both got schedules soon"
"Ok oppa.. I will stay here with jongie for now if its ok with eomeonim..." Yoona said as she looks at jonghyun's mum with pleading eyes
Mrs lee smiles.. She said "off course yoona-yahh"
"I need to see jonghyun's uncle in busan.. i be leaving in couple hours.. I was gonna cancel it but if you can stay here for the night to take of him.. It'll be great but if you cant then its...."
"I'll stay here eomeonim!" Yoona quickly replied. Not waiting for mrs lee to finish talking
Mrs lee just nodded and smile as she taps yoona's shoulder
And so Seohyun and yonghwa left
Yoona stayed by jonghyun side... She kept looking at jonghyun at the state he is in with regrets and guilt.....
"Yoona-yah... Can you come out for a sec" mrs lee said as she suddenly opened the door to jonghyun's room
Yoona came out to see mrs lee standing with a butler and three maids.
Mrs lee saw yoona came out.. She said to her staff
"Im sure you know who she is..."
"She will be staying here for a while and im sure in future we will see her alot more" mrs lee smiles at yoona at his.. Yoona just looks down and blushed in reply
"Treat her as you would of my own daughter... When me or jonghyun is not around, she will be the master of this house" mrs lee explains
"Eomeonim i...." Yoona was gonna decline the last bit mr lee said but she made a shush sign with her hand so yoona just shuts up and listens.
"Im sure i dont need to tell you guys.. its absolutely important! That no one knows she is here" mrs lee continues
The staff all nods in understanding.
"Yoona-yah.. These staff has been with me since jonghyun very young... You can trust them" mrs lee explains
"Dae... Eomeonim..." Yoona replied
"Ok good, now you can all greet each other.. I will leave the house to you yoona-yah" mrs lee said
"Da... Dae...." Yoona stutters at the fact that she was just made responsible of a huge mansion...
Yoona and the staff introduce each other.. Or more like the staff introduce themselves to yoona as they all already knows who she obviously is..
Much to yoona's relieve... The butler ahjussi and the three maid ahjuma are all friendly and super nice..
"So you are our future mistress... Please take care of young master well... " the butler said
The maids giggles at the notion
"Aa... Ah... Dae.... i will do my best" Yoona said as she blushed sooo hard
Soon after, mrs lee left the house
After greeting mrs lee goodbye, Yoona returned to jonghyun's room
She was a little cheered up by mrs lee and the staff but as she return to her seat next to jonghyun and seen him in that weakly state.. Her worriedness all returned in force...
She jonghyun's feverish forehead and said... "This is all my fault... "
Yoona was about to tear up again when she heard the knock.
"Come in" yoona said
Two maids entered the room
"Yes?" Yoona asked
"We're here to change master, miss" one of the maid said
"Change?" Yoona asked sounding confused
"His clothes..." The maid then said
"Daeeeeeee????" Yoona asked sounding shocked
"Well... He cant sleep like that...." The maid said while pointing at the jeans and shirt.
"They're right....... But!!! But!!! I cant let them!!!!..." Yoona screamed in her mind
"But if i say i will do it... What will they think of me!!!! Ottokeee!!!! >.< " yoona still battling in her mind
After fighting alot of battles in her head yoona finally says very very softly while looking away "it..its.. Ok.... I.. I.. Wil do it....."
"Yes miss... " the maid left. Yoona can hear them giggled outside
"Goshhhh... Soooo embarassing >.<" yoona said
"Ok, lets do this..." Yoona said as she rolled up her sleeves.
She went to find a set of pyjamas for jonghyun...
"Tck tck tck..... All black grey and dark blue... Such typical man's man" yoona thinks
She picks the lighest colored blue PJs and made her way back to jonghyun..
"Where to start....." She said
"The pants first... Its easier to take off... " yoona said...
She paused a second... Realising what she said she blushed... By herself
"Im blushing alone like an idiot.." Yoon mumbled
Yoona proceed to move closer... As she grabs jonghyun's belt and undoing it.. She's starting to blush really hard
"Yahh!!!!! Yoona!!! Stop with the dirty thoughts!!!" Yoona scolded herself in her mind
It was getting too much for yoona so she decided to close her eyes while doing it...
"Ok.... Finally i ped it... Now i just need to grabbed the side and pulled down..... ...."
"!!!!!!! Kyaaaa!!!! What is this rock hard thingy!!!!!! It cant be...!!!!!" Yoona panicked in her mind
"It cant be that...... Right??...." Yoona think in her mind as she kept her eyes closed
She squished the 'object' few times... And finally, when she gave up trying figured out what it is... She took a quick peek....
"Oohhhhhh!!!!! Its just mentos!!!!!" She said almost screaming
She giggled abit.. That last scene relieve the awkwardness a little... Afterward she can kinda took off his pants with little ease...
After done with the pants, yoona proceeded to took of his shirt... As she undo his buttons..
Yoona gasped in shock...
His body is full of bruises... And as he turn jonghyun she sees two big bandages on his back and one on the back of his head...
Yoona seen jonghyun in this condition and she began to tear up.... She hugs jonghyun from the back soo tight and said
"Its all my fault.... I really am a useless girlfriend....."
She can feel jonghyun's body burning up... She's worried that jonghyun's wound might get infected so she called the butler.. And she emphasised the butler not maid to come and change jonghyun's bandages..
Yoona sees how the butler took care of jonghyun with alot care... She could tell he's known jonghyun for a long time
"Uhmm.. Ahjusi... Do you know jongie for a long time?..." Yoona asked the butler
"Dae... I practically carry him when he was only a week old.." The butler said as he looks at jonghyun with a fatherly gaze..
after its all done, the butler asked to be excused.... but as he was about to leave...
"Yoona-yah........" Suddenly jonghyun mumbled in his fever....
Yoona quickly moves closer and grabbed jonghyun arm... She said "im here...."
The butler smiles at this... He says
"He's been sleep talking like that all month...."
"I noticed it when i clean his room each morning while he's still asleep"
"I dont mean to overstep my boundaries here,... But if i may just say... "
"Jonghyun is a very special boy..."
"I dont mean this for his money or his looks or even his music talent..."
"but simply cos he's capable of so much love...."
"Love that i can see he feels for you....."
"But then again...."
"I think you already knew that....." The butler finally bowed and exited the room
Yoona is stunned
The butler's words rang in her mind... Again... And again...
Seeing how bad she sees things gone for both her and him this past months....
It finally dawns to her.... What she knew all along.....
"Its too late for both us..."
"Its impossible for us to be apart...."
"It will kill us both......"
Yoona looks at jonghyun, smiles a bit and says "guess you're stuck with me"...
That night yoona didnt sleep at all... She kept by jonghyun's side... Holding his hand... Changing his towel from time to time....
Without realising... Morning has started to creep up...
Yoona sat on the same spot she had been for hours..
She's looking at jonghyun while his hair
Slowly... She laid her head on his chest as she hug jonghyun
She then softly said...
"Jongie.... Saranghae..."
"Please get better..... "
"Im sorry...."
"I promise i will make it up to you....."
