BEST FRIENDS

CHANWOO

"Chanwoo!" The said boy looked down and saw Eunbi standing in the middle of the basketball court, waving her arms at him. Chanwoo smiled and waved back, he was in his school's rooftop and having given a free time by Hanbin, he realized his friends are still busy so he went to the rooftop instead.

"I'm coming up there!" Eunbi shouted before running inside the school and Chanwoo laughed at his friend's giddiness. It's been a long time ever since he saw Eunbi and he honestly didn't expect that she would be at school today. A few minutes later, the door to the rooftop suddenly opened and came in a panting Eunbi,

"Okay, I will never run from the ground floor up to here... again." She said, hands resting on her knees and Chanwoo laughed.

"No one told you to run." He said, teasingly while giving her a bottle of water. Eunbi rolled her eyes,

"Act touched! I ran because of you." She said and there it was again, that fluttering feeling inside his chest and Chanwoo averted his eyes back to the court to hide away the blush that's starting to creep up in his cheeks.

Eunbi sat down beside him and laid down at the stone bench, staring up at the sky and Chanwoo did the same, feeling the roughness of the bench beneath him but he decided not to say anything about it.

"So how's practice? I heard you're called Sinb now." Chanwoo said, looking at Eunbi.

"Yeah, I'm not the only Eunbi in the group so I kind of need a stage name." She said, laughing. "How 'bout you? You don't really go out so why are you here?"

"Hanbin hyung let me go out for today. It's kind of sad in the dorm right now." He said and Eunbi sat up, looking at him with curious eyes.

"Why? What happened? Your hanbin hyung is alright, right?" Eunbi asked and Chanwoo almost lost it. Almost got lost in the way Eunbi looked at him, the way her brows crease because of the rays of sun flashing in her eyes and the way her eyes gleam with worry.

Eunbi is a friend Chanwoo adores and he would love to tell her everything he feels but he's too afraid to tell her. Chanwoo got pulled out of his thoughts when Eunbi waved her hand in front of him,

"Hey, you're spacing out. Was it really that sad?" Eunbi said and Chanwoo shook his head before he told everything to her.

Eunbi is a friend Chanwoo trusts with all his heart and he would love to tell her all his secrets but he's too afraid to tell.

"Wow... that's kind of depressing." Eunbi said after Chanwoo had told her everything. Eunbi knows about his Hanbin hyung being pregnant and now Donghyuk too, it was a secret but Eunbi is one of his best friends.
