Yoseob’s POV

 [20 October, 2010]

“Hurry, Seobbie! They’re halfway through the interview already!” Kiki nagged at me for the 5463247th time to get out of the room and listen to the radio broadcast along with him.

“Coming coming…” I yawned lazily while joining him on the couch.

“Suzy-ssi, who is your ideal type?” I recognized the familiar voice of Shindong hyung – it’s been long since I last heard him! :DDD

“Any kind of specific style you’re looking for in a guy? Do you like manly guys?” He continued.

“No, I don’t really like manly guys.” A voice spoke up – which I suppose is Suzy’s, since the question was directed at her.

“I see…” Both a guy and girl’s voice said in unison.

“I prefer cute guys.”

“You like cute guys?” The whole studio was chaotic with chatters everywhere and we heard everything clearly through the radio.

“Cute guys… We have a chance, Seobbie! Kekeke” Kiki said with a silly smile.

“Why would she like us? Kiki, it’s too early start dreaming now!” I replied nonchalantly.

“Yah! Shut up and listen, you!” He pouted and flicked my forehead; he always does that when he knows he’s at disadvantage.

“There are a lot of cute guys around in the entertainment industry, who is your ideal type among these cute-dols?” I heard Shindong hyung asking. “Please reveal it on the count of 3!”

“1-2-3!” A higher voice, which I deduced as Jia’s, counted ecstatically.

I picked up my mug of milk and started sipping on it.

“Erm… BEAST’s Yo-seob.”

“WHAAAAAAAT!?!?” That was the first thing I managed to say after spitting out the milk which was previously in my mouth.

I continued coughing for the next few seconds and Kiki patted me on my back.

“Oh!? He’s really cute.” Shindong hyung, not you too!?

“Good choice, he really is cute!”

“Ohhhhh! That’s Min’s first comment!” Kiki stopped his patting and engaged himself in a self-celebratory ceremony – for Min’s first comment…

What!? It doesn’t even make sense.

“Hey! Your bestie is on the verge of choking to death here” I managed to complete the sentence with a few choking voices in between while pointing at myself.

“Sorry I cannot hear you; I’m kinda busy!~” I’m amazed that he’s still in the mood to sing.

I should have known he cannot be depended on. *Sighs* I walked into the kitchen to get myself another cup of water to clear my throat.

“BEEP BEEP YOU HAVE A NEW TEXT MESSAGE BEEP BEEP”

“What happen, Seobbie?” Kiki leaned over my back and stole a glance.

“I don’t understand what she means” I said in confusion while handing over my phone and started making my way into the room.

“Why is she so happy when Suzy chooses me to be her ideal type? Does that mean she really treats me as a big brother and nothing more?” This time, I asked the question out loud and clear.

“Maybe she’s proud that the person she likes is someone outstanding and others recognize him for that too? I don’t know.” He trailed behind me and answered with a shrug after reading the text conversation.

“I don’t want to think anymore” I climbed into my bed. “Good night Kiki”

“Wait! The radio broadcast isn’t over yet!” He pouted from the room door.

“Good night!” I said in a louder tone and covered my head with my blanket.
