“May 2, 2010. Unknown. Windy?

Dear diary,

                Sorry I wasn’t sure of the weather. I was trapped in the practice room for the whole day. We reached even before dawn. But when I looked out of the window in the practice room, I saw many many clouds, in different animal shapes. It was cute. Anyway, I saw clouds and I assumed it was cloudy. I mean like clouds appear every day, despite rain or shine, so how do I know if it was really cloudy or what? Aish! I don’t know anymore..  ):

Back to the point, we started learning after Prepix hyung showed us the choreographed dance moves of ‘Special’. We were going to perform it soon, together with the sincere version of ‘Easy’ on M!Countdown first, Music Bank, then Music Core. The dance moves were really cool and it wasn’t as intense as Shock, Bad Girl and all that. I mean, it was really free in some parts and we had time to walk slowly into our next formation/ do whatever we wanted to, like tugging at our suits or hair flips, hand actions whatever. You understand me right? I'm pretty sure I think you got my point. Oh well, too bad if you don't already know ^^v

And don’t even get me started on ‘Easy’ sincere version. We were going to perform with violins, cello and those freaking awesome instruments! Just like what Ji Eun did in MIA! I’M SO GOD DAMN EXCITED! Oops. Too excited.

Talking about Ji Eun reminded me. Her birthday was coming in two weeks’ time and I don’t know what present to prepare for her ):”

 

I closed the book and lay back on the bed with both my hands over my head, pondering deeply. Just then, Hyunseung walked in. It was as if he received the SOS radio waves I was sending out mentally. Awesome! He leaned over my bed on the second deck and grabbed my feet suddenly.

 

“Yah! Isn’t it a little bit late for daydreaming?” He asked cheekily.

“I’m not in the mood..”

“Oh gosh. Whatever happened to our ever-so-hyper visual maknae? Are you sick? Oh dear!” He freaked out.

 

Really? What perfect timing. Just when I was having a headache over what presents to buy -.-‘’

 

“Hyung hyung hyung!” I said suddenly, remembering something.

“What!?” He was shocked at the 360 degree change of my attitude and tone and probably because I don't normally address him as my hyung.

“What do you usually get for your sister’s birthday?” His sister was almost the same age as Ji Eun.

“Why do you want to know? Are you going after her!?” His eyes narrowed.

“Definitely not. Please just tell me!” My puppy eyes would be enough to make him talk.

“Fine. Hand-made mug, personalized hoodie, back pack, necklaces, bracelets, or anything girlish” He shrugged.

“Thanks! A lot.” I dug into my striped blankets after saying that, leaving him to stare at my feet.

 

That was all the information I needed. And now for the next thing on my need list – sleep.

“May 8, 2010. Cloudy. Windy. Sunny.

Dear diary,

             I didn’t have time to take note of the weather today. I was in too much of a rush. But it wasn’t wet and cold outside so it’s definitely not rainy. I couldn’t feel the wind either since I’m wearing my oversized hoodie disguise…

Anyway, I rushed to get, a better word would be ‘make’, Ji Eun’s present after our 'Special' performance at Music Core. I was so afraid the shop would close early or something. Since Hyunseung who recommended the place mentioned that only limited pieces could be made every day. And by limited piece, he meant five hoodies! Hoodies were are super popular here in Korea, not to mention personalized ones ): What if someone else beat me to it? I want the perfect fitting present for Ji Eun so I couldn’t risk that!

Anyway, I wasn’t sure what was her favourite colour. I didn’t and couldn’t ask her directly. It'll be too obvious! I read her international forum and they didn’t have the answer either. I checked in Nate, Naver, Google, everywhere. Still no answer. But I do see her in red and yellow outfits often. And purple too. Hmm.. But I was sure of one thing. She loved bright colours.

Back to the point, I chose yellow, my favourite colour in the end xD I just decided to go with yellow since the shop-keeper got kind of pissed at me for wasting so much time just on choosing colours. I couldn’t design very well and I don’t have exceptionally good fashion sense. Hyunseung and Junhyung are the ones that are good in fashion in our group. Too bad they weren’t there. They knew the current trends! ):

P.S. It was the hardest art project I’ve done ever since I left middle school ): The design kind of . But it’s the thought that counts right? Or so I hope.”

“May 16, 2010. Sunny.

Dear diary,

                 It’s our last goodbye stage for ‘Special’ and ‘Easy’ sincere version performance. I’m pretty sad about that. But part of me is happy. Because it’s Ji Eun’s birthday today. And I finally gave her the present. Since her international forum mentioned she likes both red and yellow, I gave her a red gift box. Am I a genius or what!? BAHAHAHA! :P

Anyway, I was wondering how stupid I’ve been acting in front of her the whole day, giving myself a terrible headache. I decided that today was totally not my day. That’s when Ji Eun sent me a text and that made me feel better. A lot better. But I ain’t telling you! It’s top secret! :P And that made me change my mind. It’s definitely another one of my best day yet :DDDD”

“May 19, 2010. Rainy.

Dear diary,

                 It’s another day filled with mixed emotions. Tae Yeon noona just announced that she’ll be leaving Chin Chin ): I always liked her segment on radio. It was so much fun listening to her! Her voice could always put me to sleep.

But replacing her will be… Guess who? Ji Eun. With Doojoon. I really want to complain! He’s always the one that gets all the best schedules in our group! ): I’d rather go have fun on radio with Ji Eun than to slack off at home. A small part of me was happy since Doojoon is earning more and since our money is always split equally, it means I earn more too. But a huge huge huge part of me is depressed. I’m sad. And jealous envious. I mean, who wouldn't be? You'll get to spend alone time and get closer to the nation's little sister a.k.a. my friend a.k.a. my idol.

And I'm worried. He needs to film Danbi, B2ST Almighty, Idol Maid, Star Golden Bell, More Charming By the Days and another upcoming sitcom. On top of that he has to go around Asia for our showcase. He will be so busy I won’t even get to see him around the dorm anymore. I have to get used to the dorm without him around. I guess I’ll just go to Junhyung when I’m bored and help him with his lyrics ):”

“May 22, 2010. Rainy.

Dear diary,

                It’s Dream Concert today. We performed ‘Special’, ‘Shock’ and ‘Mystery’. Dongwoonie slipped in the first song, me in the second and Doojoon in the end of ‘Mystery’. I didn’t know the both of them slipped until we went off the stage. I only hope it wasn’t that obvious and people wouldn’t notice us falling. But it’s really not our fault. It was raining before the concert started and the stage was really wet ): But I was already lucky, considering the fact that I didn’t land on my or do split >-<

Anyway, we had a cool opening! Junhyung rapped for a while in the start and when the intro was played, the five of us jumped up onto the stage. It was awesome! But a little dangerous – Hyunseung nearly lost his balance and fall while we made our stage appearance. Today is a bad day for BEAST ):”

“May 26, 2010. Windy.

Dear diary,

                 It’s the first radio broadcast of Doojoon and Ji Eun on Chin Chin today. I’ll be listening to it later. I have nothing more to say except I feel really empty right now.”

 

I locked up the diary with a sigh. Seems like everyone is out. Only I’m at home today.

 

“Hyung! I’m back!” Dongwoonie is back.

 

GREAT! It wouldn’t be home alone anymore :DDD

 

“How was your lesson?” I asked, jumping off our double-decker bed.

“At least I could understand what the teacher said, although not everything” He shrugged innocently.

 

We made Dongwoonie signed up for night classes since he had to miss some lessons while promoting. We made sure he does well in his studies. He’s still young, unlike us. [A/N: What nonsense. He’s only younger by a year LOL]

 

“Come here and listen to the broadcast with hyung” I said while climbing up to my bed with my portable radio.

“Okay! Be right there after I bathe!” Dongwoon shouted from the bathroom.

“Hurry, Doojoon will be on air after 15 minutes.” I replied while diving my head into the pillow.

 

I didn’t want to listen. But I had to. One was my member and the other was my friend? Idol? Crush? I don’t know. I just got to show my support for their program.

 

“Move over, hyung! I don’t have any space~” Dongwoon shoved me aside after joining me on my bed.

“Okay okay.” I wasn’t in my best mood and this kid has to come and annoy me like this; ARGH.

 

Woonie leaned against the wall and hugged my pillow while I lay my head on his thighs. I only had maknae for company now. How sad ):

 

“Hello! This is BEAST’s Doojoon and the nation’s little sister IU on Chin Chin. Thanks for tuning in!”

“May 29, 2010. Cloudy.

Dear diary,

                  It’s the airing of the last episode B2ST Almighty. We went for a MT last week for the filming. Or was it the week before that? Hmm… I forgot :P Anyway, we got to call our fans and personally talk to them for a short while. It was really fun. Especially, the barbeque dinner that was prepared specially for us.

We also had a mini awards ceremony. There were awards like best speaker, all-around-beauty, best chic, genius, frivolous and best acting. But it was sort of a scam, since all of us got an award each. Keke. I got the all-around-beauty award. Which I think is the best one of those scammer awards. Are you happy for me, buddy!?! :DDDDD”
