“April 16, 2009. Windy.

Dear diary,

           IU launched her first full-length album today. I was so excited that I actually went down to the nearest CD shop to buy it during our break time. After paying for it, I was penniless. Hmm.. Not really, I probably had a few coins left. Main point is, I just went broke after buying it. You get me right? >-< As a trainee, I didn’t have much money and sometimes had to sleep in the practice room. Well, perhaps I shouldn’t be thinking about sad stuff anymore..

Some really good news! Kiki had his debut sometime last week. A part of me was happy for him, since he had always been my good friend and even introduced me as trainee to Cube. But another part of me was envious. It sort of hurt that I had to see my high school friend debut before me while I was still a trainee. In high school, I was so much more popular than him you know! Now, it’s the other way round ): To make things worse, I was his back-up dancer. He garnered attention from the public and people even said he was the little ‘Rain’.

P.S. I really hope that I can debut soon, just like the promise I made to Daniel.. I could only hope. Maybe I should just relax now.”

I closed my diary and locked it. I wouldn’t want to risk anyone intruding my privacy. Especially with an ajumma friend like DooJoon around. Keke. I put the new CD I bought into the player, leaned back on the mirror and closed my eyes while enjoying the melodious harmony of the angelic voice and peppy rhythm. Unconciously, my head started bobbing up and down, in sync with the beats. The title song was really catchy.
