Yoseob’s POV

[11 October, 2010]

“Junhyung, hurry!” I rushed him.

 

If I don’t, he’ll take forever to enter the recording studio! He was still looking into the mirror, adjusting his hair before I left the waiting room and he’s been standing there for the past 10 minutes. No exaggeration. Yes, he IS that vain. *Cough cough* Before going to my seat, I went to greet the PD and he briefed me on where to sit and the games that we’re going to be playing later on.

 

“Yoseob-ah! Junhyung will be sitting behind of you later on. Can you tell him about what I brief you on? I wouldn’t want to repeat it again” PD hyung looked at me with a frown.

 

How could I reject anyone? Especially this hyung looking at me with his deep dark pupils; we’ve been quite close ever since my first appearance on Star Golden Bell at the start of this year.

 

“Alright! Don’t worry about it, hyung” I might be lazy, but I’m a good messenger! :DDD

 

I immediately bowed and went to my seat. Once I was seated down comfortably, I noticed a few girls waving at me. I waved back with a smile. Then they congratulated me on BEAST winning first on Music Bank and I thanked them.

 

‘They must be B2UTYs! I have B2UTYs watching me first hand today! I have to do well. Keke’ I thought excitedly.

 

Just then, I realized that I left my phone in the waiting room. I dragged my heavy body from the comfy red chair and made my way to the waiting room. It was a long journey! ㅜㅜ Or maybe it’s just me, since I’ve been feeling tired and worn out lately. I checked my phone once I got my hands on it.

What’s up? (: I’m recording Star Golden Bell today. I told you a few days ago, remember? ^^

 

I typed as I walked casually into the recording studio once again. I went up to my seat and stood next to it, wearing my watch. I constantly stole glances at my phone in case Ji Eun’s text came.

 

“Oppa! IU IU!” The B2UTYs from before shouted loudly, loud enough for me to hear.

 

‘Aish’ I gave them a look and smiled at them.

 

“Really. We’re friends!” I mouthed.

 

I smiled again and looked away from them, constantly checking my phone. The B2UTYs requested me to pose for pictures and I showed a double-v sign.

 

“BEEP BEEP YOU HAVE A NEW TEXT MESSAGE BEEP BEEP”

I wanted some ice cream~ Oh right. How could I have forgotten? I’m getting old ㅜㅜ

 

“Another one, oppa!” The B2UTYs screamed.

 

I obeyed and went back to my phone after posing for a few seconds.

“Is it obvious?” I cocked my head to the side while turning back to look at him.

“Yes duh.” I ignored him and went back to replying Ji Eun’s text.

“Recording is starting. Focus!” One of the crew members yelled from behind the cameras.

“In 3,2,1. ACTION!” The ‘recording in progress’ light flickered on.

[During recording]

In one of the segment, they were chatting over idols from boy groups telling Hyosung about them liking Ji Eun of SECRET.

 

“Their common initial is ‘S’!” Hyosung revealed.

“Common initial… But why don’t they just go and tell her themselves?” The MC asked curiously.

“Yoseob-ah! Yoseob! It must be him!” The main MC, Sukjin hyung, pointed his finger at me accusingly.

“What what? Why me?” I kept repeating incoherently from the shock.

 

The B2UTYs screamed even louder as everyone in the studio burst out into laughter.

 

I pointed at the B2UTYs and shook my head in denial, “No no! Not me!”

 

“Yoseob, do you like her?” Sukjin hyung taunted teasingly, he’s unstoppable when it comes to stuff like that.

“Yoseob like IU-ssi!” Junhyung blurted out from the back.

“Ah! Damn” I said in exasperation while fiddling with the stuff on the table, smiling shyly.

“Oh… That Ji Eun?” Sukjin hyung continued and everyone clapped.

“What’s going on here!?”

“They are both Ji Eun!”

 

I turned back and pointed at Junhyung, “Watch out when we get back to dorm! You!”

“Pay attention! You!”

“Oh right.” I turned to the front, smiled and nodded as Sukjin hyung continued the show.
