SEVENTEEN

“Can you sit Jinwoo.” Sunggyu tries to pull down Jinwoo to the seat next to him but the latter just can’t sit. “Why can’t you stay still? They will be here any moment. The plane already landed.”

They are now at the VIP Exit of Incheon Airport waiting for Taehyun and Seungyoon. He arrived there with Seunghoon who offered to drive him while Sunggyu and Woohyun were already there. They were asked by the couple’s agency to pick them up so the fans and media won’t know where they are.

“Hyung how you can expect me to-” He was cut when a crying Taehyun come to his sight and Seungyoon is walking behind him, wearing sunglasses probably to hide his eyes. Taehyun is running to him and he meets him with a hug. Taehyun is a sobbing mess and by the way his eyes are swollen, he’s been crying since the news broke.

He was in the middle of his conversation with Seunghoon when he received a message from his brother to check the news online. When he did he didn’t expect to saw a photo of his two friends kissing inside their dorm in Japan. It was said that a fan managed to trespass the dorm and put a camera. The two doesn’t notice it and when they did it was already over. Their photos spread online like a wild fire and a lot of their fans leave the fan café and they received a lot of hate and death threat. They are supposed to perform for three nights in Japan but their agency ordered them to halt it and just comeback until everything calm down.

Everyone was shocked and of course haters take this opportunity to bring them down. Taehyun has called him crying his heart out as he read every comment about them. Some of their fans remain and accept them but still it’s not even the half of what they had before.

“Hyung.” Taehyun cries, face buried at the crook of his neck. The hug was too tight but he just let it go.

“Everything will be okay. Don’t worry.” He soothes him, running his hand on his back.

Taehyun shakes his head. “Everyone hates us hyung.” Taehyun voice is shaking and full of sadness.

“Not everyone. We don’t hate you.” He said as Seungyoon joins, hugging both of them.

“Come on, someone might see them.” Sunggyu said patting their heads.

They break the hug. “Seunghoon hyung.” Taehyun mutters as he sees the familiar small eyes smiling at him. Taehyun looks at him confuse.

He just shrugs and beams at him.

Going out of the airport is such a hassle but they did it and they fight where they will go but in the end Jinwoo won and they head to his apartment. Taehyun and Seungyoon rides with them while Seunghoon drives and their brothers trail behind them.

Taehyun is still sniffling and his shoulder is still shaking as Seungyoon hugs him at the back seat. He was gnawing his bottom lips when he feels Seunghoon hand holds his and the latter gives him a warm smile.

“He will be okay.” Seunghoon mutters before focusing on the road again. He release a relief sigh when he saw Taehyun already pass out on Seungyoon’s lap even though the sad look on their face says everything.

They arrived at his house and were welcome by Mino who doesn’t even wait for Seungyoon to get off of the car. Mino quickly pulls Seungyoon into a tight hug and whispers comforting words to his ears. Seungyoon cries on Mino’s shoulder and they left the two best friends for a while as they put Taehyun inside his room.

“What now?” running his hand to his messy hair.

They are now at the kitchen, Jiho and Jinwoo is preparing a snack for all of them.

“The agency said we just need to wait for the issue to calm down before we issue our side.” Seungyoon voice is shaking and hand .

“Do you really think this will calm down? Why don’t you just confirm everything since it all out now and people will never believe that you two are just drunk that night just like what your company wants to say.” Mino voiced out earning a glare from Jinwoo and Woohyun.

“If we say the truth then it will be the end for us by how people react to that video they don’t want to accept us but if we lie we can just take a break and come back when everything is already buried.” The sadness in Seungyoon voice is evident that he even himself doesn’t know what to do. “It’s my entire fault.” Seungyoon cries again in his hand, shoulder heaving up and down as he blames himself at everything. “If only I check before.”

“It’s no one’s fault Yoon. No one wants it to happen and no one knew that it will happen. Stop blaming yourself.” Jinwoo said running his hand on Seungyoon’s back.

 He feels a hand on his back and when he turns around he saw Jiho smiling sweetly at him. “You need to rest Seungyoon. Everything will be okay.” Jinho said patting Seungyoon’s back.

Seungyoon joins Taehyun to Jinwoo’s room, leaving Jinwoo under his brother gaze.

“What?” He asks eyebrows rising. Sunggyu just nods at Seunghoon who’s talking on his phone. Tilting his head to the side he pretends he doesn’t get what his brother is implying.

“What’s going on with you two? You didn’t even mention to me that you met him again.” Sunggyu eyes boring hole in his body.

“We’re co-workers.” He said not interested at giving his brother more information.

 “Co-workers?” He nods and gives his brother a sly smirk.

“Yes they are just co-workers because Jinwoo is mine.” Jiho brags kissing his cheeks and he blush from the sudden action.

“So you two are dating now?” Woohyun asks, eyes almost popping out. Jiho nods showing their couple ring and Sunggyu choke on his juice.

“Really?” Sunggyu almost shout and the two of them just laugh.

“Enough.” Seunghoon cuts all of them and they eye him but he just smile. “We need to go back in the office now.”

“Call me when Taehyun calls.” He said to the three before he was drag by Seunghoon outside, hands intertwine.

But before they walk out of the front door Mino pulls him and kisses him. “Take care okay?” Mino mutters before he let go of him. He waves goodbye and Mino does the same.

Sunggyu and Woohyun are so lost at what is happening and their gaze goes to Jiho who’s scratching the back of his head.

“You got a lot of explanation to do.” Sunggyu voice is saying that he doesn’t have any option.
