The Identity I Never Knew
"Hey, have any news about Hyukjae?" Donghae asked as she took her seat.
"Nope. Not one word. What's with that guy anyway? Is he a bubble or something?" Sungmin said in frustration.
"Hey don't be mad at him. I'm sure he's got his reasons" Kyuhyun said without taking his eyes off his PSP.
"Whatever reasons that may be, he should at least told us! It's already been a week!" Sungmin slammed her fist on the table.
Kyuhyun shook his head. "By the way, Donghae-noona, you look pretty today. Do you have a date or something?"
Donghae blushed. "No, I don't. My mind is too preoccupied to think about going out with someone as of the moment"
"Admit it, you miss Hyukjae" Sungmin teased. Donghae blushed even more before looking away. Kyuhyun chuckled. Before Sungmin could continue with her teasing, the teacher walked in with two new students. Everyone gasped at the sight. The two were astonishingly beautiful!
"Ok class, we have two new students so please be nice to them. Introduce yourselves please?" the teacher ordered them.
"My name is Park Gyuri. Please take care of me" she smiled making boys swoon. She glanced at the boy beside her and blushed.
'She looked like a goddess for one' Donghae thought. Her sight moved to the boy next to her. Donghae gasped when she saw that he was staring at her. 'He looks familiar'
"Hello, my name is Lee Eunhyuk" his eyes never leaving Donghae's. Eunhyuk has a chocolate brown hair having it spiked upwards in one direction showing his smooth forehead. It also emphasized his firm jawline. He one lidded eye, pointed nose and plump lips.
"Gyuri take this seat infront while Eunhyuk can take the seat beside Donghae"
This alarmed Donghae. This was Hyukjae's seat and she wouldn't allow anyone to seat beside her. No matter how hot and handsome that person may be. She stood up "But this is Hyukjae's seat Ma'am" Eunhyuk stopped in his tracks.
"He already transferred to another school"
"WHAT?!" Donghae and Sungmin asked in unison.
"Didn't I mention this before?" the two shook there heads "Oops sorry, my bad. Eunhyuk, take your seat now. You too Donghae" Donghae sat down and put her hand to her head, trying her best to register whatever the teacher told them. Meanwhile, Eunhyuk kept observing her while Kyuhyun observed him with a smirk on his face.
'So that's how you want to play the game huh hyung?' Kyuhyun thought as he played his PSP.
"Hey!" Sungmin tapped Donghae's shoulder "that new girl, Gyuri I think, looks a lot like your sister" Donghae snapped up at the direction of Gyuri and realized that she was right. She shook her head and face palmed herself. Eunhyuk chuckled.
"You're really interesting you know that? I'm Lee Eunhyuk" he extends his hand to shake Donghae's hand.
"Lee Donghae" she answered and shook hands with Eunhyuk. Somehow, this mere interaction sent shivers down her spine. She imediately lets go of his hand and looks away. Kyuhyun silently chuckled.
Donghae, Eunhyuk and Gyuri all have the same class. Donghae groaned because she doesn't want to face Gyuri. She sat quietly on her table while reading a book when someone slammed a fist in front of her.
"Oh, hi nerd! I didn't know you were studying here" Gyuri insulted.
"Who cares if you know?" Donghae countered.
"I have mom on my side. You are pathetic and a loser just like your father" Gyuri said with a smug face.
"Don't ever talk about my father that way!" Donghae glared. "You don't know anything!"
"Oh, I do know something" Gyuri said as she took a sit in front of Donghae. "I know that OUR mom left you because she loves me more than she loves you. And that pathetic loser of a father, tsk, he can't even produce enough money to support his family"
"YOU-" Donghae stood up, wanting to slap Gyuri hard on the face.
"Donghae that's enough" Yesung ordered from the door. Donghae looked at him with tears in her eyes. Eunhyuk was silently watching the scene as the rest of the of the class.
Yesung examined Gyuri's face. "You're the daughter of the bastard in the restaurant. So he decided to have you study here as well huh?" Yesung asked.
Gyuri nervously went to her seat without looking at either Donghae or Yesung. Donghae, on the other hand, silently wept. She couldn't take all of theh insults she bombarded directly towards her father. "DDANGKOMA!!!!" she snapped from her thoughts and saw Yesung squatting down beside her.
"What are you doing?" Donghae asked. Yesung showed her the turtle.
"She was lost and I couldn't find her. She seems to like you" Yesung stood up with the turtle on one hand. "I'll be leaving now. Bye Fish!"
"Bye!" she couldn't help but chuckle at the weirdness of the guy. 'What a weird guy. Thank you for stopping me' she thought.
Eunhyuk kept observing her. A smile crept from his face when Donghae smiled angelically. 'That's how you usually smile when you're grateful. I wonder how you smile when you're in love?' he thought.
~SUNGMIN AND KYUHYUN's CLASS~
They were sitting side by side. Sungmin has a hard time learning Geometry so Kyuhyun teaches her.
"Kyuhyun-oppa!" a girl shouted. Both looked up and searched the room curiously.
"S-Seohyun? What are you doing here?" Kyuhyun asked. 'What is this girl doing here?'
She sat down on the table in front of Kyuhyun, purposely showing her legs. Sungmin rolled her eyes and scoffed. "I'm here because you ran away during our engagement party. You left me there, you're fiance!"
"Engagement party?! Fiance?!" Sungmin yelled.
"Calm down, Min" Kyuhyun said calmly.
"Calm down?! Why should I calm down?! You're engaged Kyuhyun and yet you're flirting with me? What am I, a fling?" Sungmin asked enraged. Kyuhyun sighed.
"Just calm down first. You haven't heard my side of the story yet. We always talked about this right? You have to listen first before it clouds your judgement" Kyuhyun poked her forehead.
Sungmin crossed her arms on her chest then pouted, "Fine!"
"Not cute at all" Seohyun scoffed.
"Shut up !" Sungmin hissed.
"Hey stop it you two. I don't want any interruptions, understood?" The girls nodded. "First of all, Min, remember the time when people thought that Donghae-noona and I were an item?" Sungmin nodded "And I was gone for two days?" she nodded again "I went out of town to meet Seohyun and her family. Second, Seohyun, you're not my fiance. I disagreed with my parents decision and they respected that I am already in love with someone."
"Oppa, there's already a ring. See this?" Seohyun proudly showed her ring.
"I never gave you any ring. I haven't got the intention to do so. Because I already have this bunny" he said then pecked her cheek. Sungmin giggled.
Seohyun stood up and was furiously agitated at the sight. "You are mine Cho Kyuhyun! You deserve better than that !" she cupped Kyuhyun's face then kissed him. Kyuhyun's eyes widened. Sungmin stood up, pulled Seohyun then slapped her hard on the face.
"Don't you dare touch what's mine you !" Sungmin glared. Kyuhyun smirked. 'That's my bunny' he thought while he pulled his PSP and started playing.
"How dare you slap my beautiful face ?" Seohyun grabbed Sungmin's hair but due to the fact that Sungmin is a black belter in taekwondo, she kicked Seohyun on her stomach.
"Aren't you gonna stop them?" one of their classmates asked Kyuhyun. He turned off his PSP and grabbed the flying bunny and slumped her on his shoulder. Sungmin thrashed but Kyuhyun held a tight grip on her. "Tell the teacher I've got something important to do. Oh and if Yesung-hyung happened to pass by here, give him and this little bunny's things. Thank you" The students had their mouths hanging opened. Most were shocked by what Sungmin could do while the others were surprised that Kyuhyun turned off his PSP to stop the cat fight. He usually just let the people who fights to woo him be.
'That ! I'm gonna have my revenge! I'm gonna take Kyuhyun!' she said to herself as she stood up and dusted her uniform.
"YOU! How dare you let her kiss you like that huh?! DO you want to die right now? I can't believe you didn't pull away from her!" she spat angrily "I don't like this anymore Cho Kyuhyun. It's either girls or that stupid games of yours that catches your attention. You never even look at me except when I take the initiative. And were you even planning on stopping me from kicking the lights out of that ?" she paused a moment and stared at Kyuhyun, waiting for an answer. When she got none, she continued "I guess not. The only time you took the initiative was back in the cafe. It never happened again. And you know what hurts me more? It's the fact that you never introduced me to your family. It's like you're ashamed of me. I'm tired of this Kyuhyun"
"Wait Min-"
"We're done" she said as tears flow freely in her cheeks. She walked away leaving a speechless Kyuhyun.
He ran. He ran as fast as he could till he reached Donghae's sanctuary. Ever since they became friends it has became his as well. He sat down near the pond and began crying. He loved Sungmin too much that it pained him to see her walk away. "Sungmin, I'm so sorry" he whispered.
"Kyuhyun?"
Kyuhyun stood up and looked at the owner of the voice. "Why are you crying?"
"Teukie-uma!!" he ran and hugged her tight. He continued crying in her arms as she drew comforting circles on Kyuhyun's back.
"Shh.. baby. Stop crying. What's seems to be the problem dear?"
"Uma, s-she, S-sungmin, s-she br-broke u-up w-with me" he revealed in between sobs "What am I gonna do now? I love her uma, I love her too much"
Leeteuk pulled away, wiped Kyuhyun's tears and gently asked "Aren't you supposed to be a genius Kyuhyun? Why are you asking me these question when you can figure out a way out of this?" she cupped his face and continued "Your emotions are clouding your judgement right now. Calm down and think of a way. I know you can do it. Your smart and everybody knows that. I'll be leaving you to your thoughts then" she walked away with a smile on her face. Kyuhyun sat down again and started thinking on how to capture a lost bunny.
"What's with the smile?" Kangin asked.
"Oh, nothing. I just feel that things are starting to get interesting from now on" she replied. Kangin nodded but still confused.
A/N: Somehow, I'm getting tired of updating this.. *sigh* I'll be gone for a moment to study. Exams are coming fast and I'm not yet ready. Hope you'll understand though. Anyway, here's a kyumin chapter for you! Enjoy! If you spot a mistake please point it out. thank you!
