Like any other usual day, before work began, I stand by the door of the company to greet every employ that worked for my company. With a smile, that worked happily. To me, working should be fun and enjoyable, not boring and less chatty like when my father was still in business. 

"Good morning, Mr. Kim." I smiled and greeted my last—well not technically—employee who had showed up to work. "Hyung," I turned my head to the left into the building. I looked to him with a smile, "What's up, Joonmyun?" I asked. He walked closer to my attention, "Hee Young just called and told me that she was going to be late—at least 20 minutes late." I sighed and nodded before closing the front door of the building. He nodded and excused himself to work.

I tucked my hands into my pocket of my suit while walking into my office. My body collapsed onto my chair while a sigh escaped my mouth. 

"You worthless piece of !" Her whimpers filled the room alongside of her father's shouts and fist going through her like a thunderbolt. Hee Young curled up into a ball in the corner of her home as her father threw punches and kicks at her. Ever since her mother died, he redirected himself to the opposite direction, allowing her to suffer more than usual. 

Before, her family lived happily without a worry. They were happy, but the cause of her mother's accidental death led her father to beat her. Blame her for her mother's death. When really, it was his fault for driving home drunk with her in the passenger's side. All along, Hee Young thought he should've died and not her mother. What led her to think that was his change.

"Get out of my face! You're so ing useless!" 

Her eyes watered as she wrapped her arms around her body, her head down as she walked closer to the destination. As she pulled the handle of the door, her bag dropped off her shoulder slightly as she entered the building known as Kim's Enterprise.

"Hee Young-ah," her head turned to the sound of the male voice she called best friend, "hyung wants to see you in his office, right now." She let out a deep inhale before nodding. "Thanks, Joonmyun." She uttered before wealking to her desk and setting her work back down onto her chair. Joonmyun walked passed her with a slight smile as he slipped into his office across of his brother's room. 

The knock on the door turned my hair as I exclaimed for them to enter. Slowly, Hee Young walked in with her head down. "You wanted to see me?" Her appearance was different today. Her outfit was more covered rather than her usual outfits, short and work appropiate. I got up and motioned her over. She sauntered over as I leaned my behind on top of my desk with my arms crossed. 

"Tell me," I called out as she looked up with a confused look, "Hee, don't play stupid with me. I know what your father's been doing to you." She looked down for a minute or two as soft whimpers and lifting shoulders came from her. I blinked before softening, I got up and wrapped my arms around her with a sigh. "It's okay, Hee, I'm here for you."
