Hey, TaeYeon.

This is Joo.

Come meet me at the ice cream shop near the college grounds, arraso?

See you there at 7 PM.

Better come on time.

I kept looking at the text, contemplating if I should go or not.

Why should I go?

Frowning, I sighed then decided I might as well go.

It was 6:56PM by the time I arrived.

My eyes scanned the store then spotted Joo with a bowl of ice cream already.

I walked to her table and too the seat across from her.

"What do you want from me?" was the first thing that blurted out of my mouth.

She responded with a chuckle.

"What do I want from you?" Looking up, she had an evil smirk plastered on her face.

"Neh." I said confidently. 

People had said Joo was an intimidating person.

But to me, she was just like any other try hard I've met.

An annoying girl who clinged onto all the boyfriend she had but cheated on them behind their back. And if the guy confronts her, she threatens him.

"I want you... To leave my oppa alone."

"YOUR oppa?" I laughed loudly. She nodded in reply.

"Gladly, Joo. I'd be happy to." I lied easily and grinned.

"Also, you have to exchange dorms with me." 

"Go to hell." I smiled widely.

"I'm sharing rooms with JunSu. You know, your brother? You wouldn't want anything to happen to him."

She was sharing rooms with him? What? Why!?

"Liar. They wouldn't let you and him share a room. Never in hell would they." I muttered under my breath.

"Well, you're sharing rooms with LeeTeuk oppa, why wouldn't they let me dorm with your oppa? Hmm?" She finished her ice cream and placed the spoon on the table.

"You better not lay a finger on him." I threatened with a low voice.

"Hah!" Joo smiled evilly again "Well, the only way he'll be safe is if we exchange dorms."

"Anni. My brother can protect himself, Joo. So, I'll be leaving now." I nodded then got up and left.

As I was walking out the door, I began to wonder.

Why didn't I let her exchange rooms?

It was already awkward with LeeTeuk and I back at the dorm, so it'd be perfect if we exchanged!

But then again, LeeTeuk wouldn't be safe with her there.

I cringed.

Why did I think about his safety before my oppas?

What's wrong with me?

My heart began to tighten together.

Why am I feeling this way?

It was getting pretty dark so I walked quicker.

But due to my short legs, I didn't move that quickly.

"Hey there. Short girl!"

I stopped dead in my tracks.

This can't be happening.

I prayed silently in my head as I took a quick glance back.

Two guys were starting to move towards me.

I made a sharp turn and into an alley way, hoping there would be another side of the alley.

I was wrong. There wasn't.

But before I could turn around and leave, the men were already at the opening.

I tried to remember all those years of self defense class.

But suddenly, it all became a blur to me.

Why didn't I remember anything? Was it because I became 'soft' for men now?

I frowned in disgust as I got prepared for what was in front of me.

They won't get me without a fight.

[LeeTeuk POV]

It's already 7:15, where is TaeYeon?

Wait, why am I wondering about this?

She isn't mine. Joo is mine.

No, TaeYeon is my dorm mate, of course I should worry.

I threw on a coat and walked down the stairs as quickly as possible then leaving the college grounds.

As I walked down the sidewalk, I heard loud shuffling noises coming from the alley way.

It wasn't that surprising.

The streets here were dangerous in the evening.

TaeYeon, wait for me. 

I took the left and entered the alley, spotting two men hovering over a small figure.

"Yah!" I called out.

[TaeYeon POV]

"Come with us." The first male spoke.

"Never." I gritted my teeth.

"Fine, we'll force you to." The second man chuckled at my come back.

The first man came running at me.

I tripped him and punched him in the gut, which caused him to get more angry.

The second man pulled out a knife.

I was completely aware now.

He ran at me, knife pointing towards my stomach.

I grabbed his arm and pulled it up.

The sharp blade sliced my cheek lightly, but caused it to flow with blood.

Dang.

"You cut my face.." I said, furious as I did.

I bent his arm back, hearing the glorious crack that followed it.

His yells were loud as I smirked in success.

Then, I was suddenly down on the ground.

The first man had pulled me down.

"You're not escaping." He said angrily.

I felt a sharp pain on my ribs so I pressed my hand on the cloth then looked.

Of course, blood would be there to greet my stare.

"Yah!" A familiar voice came from the opening of the alley.

Sleep now, TaeYeon. You're safe.

I heard my oppas voice in my head.

The years of when I was a kid and JunSu came to rescue me from my father.

I obeyed then shut my eyes, trying to make everything disappeared.

And just like that, I drifted off slowly.

[LeeTeuk POV]

"Yah!"

I ran towards them, preparing myself with weapons that they carried.

Then I noticed who the men were.

"Lee Joon? Rain?" I stopped where I was.

Both of them looked at me "LeeTeuk..?"

"What the hell are you doing?" 

I looked at the girl from below them and came to recognition.

"TaeYeon..." 

Rain then spoke "You know her?!"

"She's ... She's my dorm mate. Why are you guys doing this?!" I yelled at them.

"Joo told us to." Lee Joon blurted out then covered his mouth while Rain swore quietly.

"Joo...?"

Lee Joon and Rain were my chingoos from my old college.

Joo had seduced them once or twice.

"Kay, back off and leave her." I muttered as they moved when I passed them.

"TaeYeon, are you okay?" I asked quietly as I bent down.

The smell of metal entered my nose.

The familiar smell:
Blood.

I looked at her side and saw her clothes covered in blood.

Also, her face was spotted with blood as well.

"Aish, you guys..." I frowned and picked her up bridal style after conquering my blood phobia.

Their eyes opened widely "Wait, hyung. There's blood on her!" Joon spoke.

"I don't are. You guys better not touch her ever again." I gritted my teeth and walked out of the alley, with two sets of eyes following me.

"Where am I?" TaeYeon suddenly muttered as I was walking back to our dorm.

"Don't worry, TaeYeon. You're safe." I reassured her and she drifted back to sleep.

I looked at her sleeping face.

Nothing else could warm my heart like she did.

Feeling a sharp pain in my heart, I began to think of Junsu.

TaeYeon, why did you kiss me?

Why are you dating that JunSu guy?

And the most important one,

why did you steal my heart?
