Chapter 13 : Expect the Unexpected
College Life[TaeYeon POV]
Ughh..
My hands rubbed my temples and I sat up from my bed.
What happened last night?
All I could remeber was going to the bar and coming back home, drunk.
Now, I have a massive headache.
What really did happen?
[LeeTeuk POV]
My eyes were burning.
I didn't sleep at all last night because I was thinking.
Sigh, TaeYeon... What are you doing?
Wait, why am I over thinking this?
I'll just ask her about it.. Or wait until she talks about it.
I stepped outside the washroom and saw TaeYeon laying on the couch with coffee.
"Morning." I smiled at her and waved.
She just nodded at me.
"What happened yesterday?"
I stopped pouring my coffee and turned around to see TaeYeon looking at me.
Her hair was pulled back to a high ponytail and she was in her school uniform.
Though every girl wore the same clothes, TaeYeon wore it with style.
Even her class pictures showed that she was more chill then the others even wearing the same pink or gray uniform.
I chuckled.
"You really don't remember?"
[TaeYeon POV]
I thought hard in my brain.
What... I can't remember anything!
I thought harder until I finally found something.
I remember being close to someone.
Very close.
I dug deeper into my brain.
The vision blurring as I looked at a figure.
His face was too blurry to see.
But it soon cleared up when his face was close to mine.
LeeTeuk.
I remembered his lips on mine and pushing me closer.
My eyes flew open.
"YOU KISSED ME?!" I shouted at him.
He smirked. "Actually, you kissed me."
"What..? That's impossible!" I leaned back in my chair, not believing anything.
"Okay, whatever you want, TaeYeon." He laughed and left the dorm.
It was time for school.
[LeeTeuk POV]
During the time we got there, TaeYeon's expressions just got worse and worse.
When we got off the bus I turned her around and made her face me.
"TaeYeon, are you alright?"
She exhaled lightly and softly pushed my arms off her shoulders.
"LeeTeuk..."
"Yes?"
"Can you forget about yesterday?"
I don't know why, but my heart started to sting.
It hurt when she tried to forget everything that happened.
"What?"
"Let's pretend this didn't happen okay?" She looked up at me.
I slowly nodded and she walked away.
LeeTeuk, remember.
She's just your future chingoo.
Nothing else.
I shook my head.
Why was I thinking like this?
I promised myself to never have a girlfriend until I was really ready.
I promised that I wouldn't like anyone for YEARS because of what happened.
TaeYeon was changing everything.
She didn't even want to talk to me, so why would I bother trying.
I looked back up and saw TaeYeon about to cross the road.
When suddenly, a truck appeared and I ran for my life towards TaeYeon.
[TaeYeon POV]
I made the decision and told LeeTeuk to forget about it.
Done. Awesome.
I sighed and walked away from him, expecting him to follow after me.
But he didn't. He stayed in the same spot so I walked to school by myself.
As I waited for the crosswalk light to shine, I began to think.
I was beginning to feel comfortable with LeeTeuk.
I wanted to be near him.
So why am I continuously pushing him away from me?
The red light shone and I began to walk down the road, with no one by my side.
I heard a loud horn beep and I turned my head to the left.
One split second, I saw a truck coming to me, the next, I was off the road and on the sidewalk, with someone hovering over me.
"LeeTeuk.."
