Yoona plugged her earpiece before answering Taeyeon’s call

“Yes Tae? What made you call?”

“Hello to you too” Taeyeon’s soft chuckle could be heard “Where are you?”

“Me? At work. I mean, with Sica. Why?”

‘Ooooh, sica’ ‘It wasn’t that long when you were calling her brat’

‘Hey, I was just kidding’ Taeyeon continues ‘I called to ask you to eat with me or something. We haven’t met for a while now’

“Why? Is there something wrong?”

‘Nothing much, I just want to catch up with you since I do not have a pile of works to do. Besides, do I have to provide something wrong to get you to eat with me?’

“It’s not like that, you know it” She sighed exasperatedly. She wasn’t avoiding Taeyeon or anything. It just happened that Jessica’s work schedule got packed and tangled with the others so she got busy too “Its just that we are going somewhere”

“Where are we?” Jessica asked when Yoona has her hand outreached for her to take, for her to step out of the car “I thought youre just going somewhere to drop by or something. Why do I have to come along?”

“Yoona” She sighed “I’m not in the mood for whatever, okay?”

“You haven’t given it a try yet. How about giving it a chance? 5 minutes wouldn’t hurt”

“Fine. 5 minutes it is” She agreed, holding Yoona’s outreached hand for her to take, removing her earphones and neatly putting it to its case

“Wow” Jessica awes at the place Yoona took her. The place is big and spacious, and no one is occupying the place “Where are we?”

“Too bad we cant have fun” She dejectedly countered

“What are you saying?” Yoona asked, then pushing Jessica to the ball pit before jumping as she shouts ‘Cannon ball!’

“Is this not a place for kids???” Jessica asked, her head above the ball surrounding her

“Play whenever you want” She hit Jessica with the ball “I used to part time here, I mean, I still do, but I barely show up for work since someone turned to a workaholic cat”

“Is this really for adult???” asked Jessica, still adoring the place “I dreamt of this place! Soojung and I used to have so much fun in places like this when we were still young, which is ages ago”

“You sound like a woman in her forties!” Yoona playfully rolled her eyes

“I’ll wreck this place!”

“Go as you please”

“Don’t mind if I do” Jessica bragged, heading for the giant inflatable slide that was the first thing that caught her eyes

“You feeling better now?” Yoona asked when they were at the ball pit again, hours after they played around the place, trying all the courses available whether it was strenuous enough or a simple inflatable slide

“You don’t say? I feel like I’m in a cloud nine!” Still panting, she spread her arms and legs “Ball pit angel!”

“What?” snickered Yoona “What is that?”

“Ball pit angel! Like, when you’re in a snow, you say snow angel. But since we’re here, its ball pit angel”

“Okay, that barely make any sense” She went to the side to grab her phone “But smile for the picture anyway”

“Photoshoot?” She smiled, then trying other poses

“Boss! I was just about to call you!” A guy entered the venue and called

“Boss?” Jessica side glares “I thought you part time here?”

“Yes, as a manager”

“You own the place!”

“Doesn’t mean I can’t part time!” She stuck her tongue out before going towards the guy who called for her

So she owns this place, huh? Then, why did she agree to be my bodyguard?

“I’m sorry to break it to you, but someone would be renting the place for a birthday celebration” Yoona said after her talking with the guy, outreaching a hand to Jessica

“It’s okay, I already had so much fun!”

“Hmm, pay me with food instead. Aren’t you hungry?”

“Now that you mentioned it, I think I am” nodded her “And I know the perfect place to go!” 

Yoona grabbed some pair of clothes at the back for Jessica to change to before they proceeded to the shower room to freshen up themselves

“Are you up for some extra labor? Like, to push down what we ate?”

“We haven’t had anything yet!” Yoona deadpanned
