Sahara's pov

The ride back home was quiet. Too quiet. Neither my aunt or uncle said a word the whole time, but right when we set foot in the house, my aunt lost it.

"How could you do this? You nearly destroyed our family name, and your fathers business that he had worked his whole life to create and succeed. You just showed how incapable you are in front of all the people who are waiting to bring you down! They are all very business minded and crooked people! You just gave them a chance to strike. If you weren't ready for this, then you shouldve told me!

"But I did tell you-"

"Slap!!"

My aunt, she just slapped me. She didn't even let me finish.

"I warned and begged your father that it was a mistake to make a child the head of a company, but he was too stubborn. He didn't listen to me like always, and now we're facing the consequences. I don't want to see your face again."

And she left me there, standing humiliated and alone. I then realized that all my guards were standing to the side, including Jackon, but I didn't care. I didn't want to look strong in front of anyone. I just broke down and started to cry. It was too much for me to handle, from my father's death, to the sudden marriage, to JB hating me, and having the humongous responsibility of being the head of a company. And now, my own aunt hated me. I can't withstand any of this anymore. I'm done.
