Part 2

5 months later...

Donghae

I woke up to sound of my dog barking.

Damn dog.

I had a really good dream, too bad I had to wake up.

I sighed and dragged my around the house.

It's Summer break and I've just been staying home and going on the internet. 

Really, what's there to do?

I paced back and forth. 

But then all of a sudden my phone rang.

'Jaejoong'

"Yoboseyo?"

"Hyung," Jaejoong paused, "What are doing right now?"

"I'm just at home, bored as hell."

"Then come to the hospital."

"Sure, but why?"

"Miyoung--"

"No."

"What? Why, dude?"

"Because."

"Miyoung's been in the hospital for 5 months, you should go and visit her~"

Yeah, that's right... It's been about 5 months since her car accident. The day after it happened, rumors spread around at school. Ever since then, she's been in a coma.

"Eh..."

"Come on..."

"Do I have to?"

"The doctor said that when she wakes up, she'll be happy to see everyone~~~"

"Okay..."

"Please just come! She'll be happy to see you."

"Aish..." I mumbled, pacing back and forth.

"Come on," he whined in a baby voice.

"Are you really using aegyo on me, dude?"

"Yeah, I am. But I mean it, come on..."

"Ahh alright." I mumbled, "I'll be there in a few minutes."

"You better."

"Yeah. Yeah."

I took my time and when I was ready, I left the house. 

Aish, Jaejoong's lucky I'm actually coming.

When I arrived at the hospital, Jaejoong called and told me to come up to Miyoung's room.

As I walked in, I carelessly walked pass the receptionist. 

"Excuse me," She said, running up to me, "Who are you looking for?"

"Uhh, Hwang Miyoung," I grumbled.

"Ahh, are you a family member or a friend of hers?"

Aish.

I'm neither of them.

"Uh--," I stuttered, "I'm her friend..."

"Oh okay! Well go up to room C17!"

"Thanks." I grumbled. 

I made my way up to the door of her room and hesitantly placed my hand on the door handle. 

My hand suddenly dropped and I slowly took a couple of steps back.

Once again, I paced back and forth.

Do I have to go?

My phone suddenly began to ring.

'Jaejoong'

"Yeah?" I coldly answered.

"Where are you? Are you here yet?" 

"Yeah, I am... but..."

"But what?"

"I'm outside of the door, I don't want to come in..."

"Aigoo, really?" He laughed, "Just come inside, there are several people in here--"

"What?!" 

"Sorry, I didn't tell you... The doctor predicted that today she'll finally awaken--"

"Aish! Why didn't you tell me--"

"Just come in! Don't worry, I don't think anyone will notice you~~"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, definitely!"

"Ah, okay then." 

I put my phone back in my pocket and took a deep breath in; one out.

Slowly, I approached the door and placed my hand on the handle.

Jaejoong better be right.

The handle slowly turned with my hand and the door began to open.

Once I walked in, the whole room became quiet. All eyes glared towards my direction.

Aish. I knew it.

I quickly took an empty seat in the back of the room where Jaejoong sat. 

"I thought you said no one would notice...." I whispered.

"Sorry about that!" He giggled.

"Aigoo," A short girl mumbled, glaring at me.

Aish... 

I looked over at Miyoung, who layed in the bed; at rest. 

A whole bunch of presents surrounded her; bears, cards, get-well balloons...

To be honest, I was surprised...

She must really be something.

"Hey...." Jaejoong whispered. 

"Yeah?" 

"What are you going to say to her when she wakes up?"

I shrugged my shoulders and pretended to act like I didn't care.

But Really... What am I going to say to her? 

Should I say.... 'Its been awhile?" 

Nah. That's stupid.

Oh, oh, how about ... 

Ah, nevermind.

I honestly don't know what I'll say to her.

For over 15 minutes, I spent my time, trying to come up with words to tell her.

But why?... She doesn't mean much to me...

Yet, I tried to come up with words.

How about-- 

"Miyoung!" One of her friends said in an exciting tone.

I quickly stood up and looked towards Miyoung's direction.

She awakened.

Okay... What do I say?

Damnit. I have nothing.

My eyes widened as she smiled happily. Her voice sounded cheerful, as if nothing was wrong with her.  

Why is she even smiling? She wasn't like this the last time I saw her. The last time I saw her, she was sad and would always cry... What's up with the sudden attitude change? 

One by one, she hugged all of her friends while I stood in the corner, looking at the ground. Will she tell me to leave when she notices me? WIll she cry?

At last, she noticed me standing alone in the corner.

"Annyeong!" She said to me cheerfully.

"Eh?" My eyes widened. Why-- why is she being so nice to me? I'm the one who kept hurting her.

"Uhm..." I mumbled...

"Who must you be?" She asked, still smiling.

"Wh--what?"
