"What would happen next?" Hyoyeon thought to herself, as she typed the 12th chapter of her mystery novel. Four years have passed since she graduated, but she still hasn't finished her so-called 'masterpiece' revolving around an inspector named Woorim, though she had already published her first novel, different from genre she really wanted.

"What should happen next?" she thought to herself, as she tapped her fingers on the table.

"Mom! Mom!" a kid ran inside the dining room where Hyoyeon was, "Can I go out and play with Jihoon?"

Hyoyeon creased her forehead, "Jaehyun, sweetie, what did we talk about playing outside?" she carried the boy, Jaehyun, and placed him on her lap.

Jaehyun pouted, "That I'm not allowed to go outside until 3:00 p.m."

"Yes, honey, and it's only 2:30," Hyoyeon answered as she wiped the sweat from Jaehyun's forehead using a kerchief. After a few minutes, a car was heard outside their house.

"Mom! It's Professor Kim!" Jaehyun jumped from Hyoyeon's lap to run towards the door, "Professor Kim! Professor Kim!" he called out.

Jongin entered the house, carrying his bag and a box of brownies, "Hey little guy," he greeted, as he put down his things on the couch to carry Jaehyun, "What's up?"

"Professor Kim! Let's play baseball with Jihoon and his uncle later at the park!"

Jongin smiled, "Sure, but first, you bring this to the kitchen," he held out the brownies, "Then go to your room and change your clothes. I need to talk to your mom first."

Jaehyun nodded, and quickly ran to the kitchen, carrying the brownies, and after that, he quickly ran upstairs to his room. Meanwhile, Jongin made his way to the dining room, and saw Hyoyeon preparing coffee for him.

"Ah, Professor Kim," Hyoyeon smiled, "You're early today?"

"Yeah. Faculty meeting finished early," Jongin answered as he approached her, "I just came back to teaching last year, but they want me to be the associate dean already."
