Face To Face
Until I Found You"Professor Kim! Professor Kim!" Hyoyeon called out. She and Minseok were outside Jongin's house.
"Hyoyeon noona, I can't find the keys at the front porch. Mr. Kim must have brought it with him," Minseok spoke.
"Where did he go?"
"I don't know noona. He didn't tell me he was going to go somewhere."
Hyoyeon sighed. She didn't expect that this would happen. Jongin was out, in the middle of the night, "Where could he be?" she thought to herself.
-
"Ah, Jongin, thank you for the ride," Mr. Jung said as he got off from Jongin's car, together with Mrs. Jung and Soojung. Jongin offered them a ride from the airport to the hotel.
"I hope you'd come over for dinner with us this Thursday," Mrs. Jung smiled, "We are also excited to see your mother."
Jongin smiled, but he remained silent. Soojung noticed him, so she decided to answer for him, "Of course, mom, Jongin and Aunt Haneul will come," she smiled.
"We look forward to that," Mr. Jung said before he and his wife entered the hotel, leaving Soojung and Jongin alone outside.
"My parents expect you to come," Soojung said to him, "Don't disappoint them."
Jongin grinned, "Yeah, sure," he said as he got inside his car, and drove away. Soojung watched his car until it disappeared from her sight.
-
"Hyoyeon noona, I need to go back to the store," Minseok said as he stood up from the curb of the street, where Hyoyeon also sat.
"Sure, Minseok," Hyoyeon smiled.
"I'm sorry, noona. But the morning employees might come and end up seeing Tao there. We both might get in trouble."
"It's okay. I'll stay here, and wait for him."
Minseok sighed, "Keep safe, noona," he said as he started walking, leaving Hyoyeon alone in the street.
Hyoyeon held her knees, and rested her forehead on them. She closed her eyes shut.
And waited.
Until she heard a car stop in front of her. She quickly stood up, and saw Jongin.
"Professor Kim," she called out. Jongin got off from his car, and was surprised to see Hyoyeon in front of his house.
"Miss Kim?"
Hyoyeon slowly walked to approach him, and...
SLAP!
