"Jongin, please!"

President Kim was already running to catch up with her son, who was on his way to the parking lot.

"Son! Please wait up!"

Jongin was already holding the car door when he stopped to turn to his mother.

"Jongin, why are you leaving?" she asked as she tried to catch her breath.

"You should already know the answer," Jongin said while opening the car door, "Mom, I was excited to have dinner with you, but," he shook his head, "Why is she here?"

President Kim sighed, "Soojung is a lovely young lady."

"Indeed," he answered, "But not for me."

"She loves you."

Jongin took a deep breath, "No, mom, she loves our business," he took his place at the driver's seat of his car, "I'd love to have another dinner with you, Mom," he smiled before he started the engines, and drove away.

President Kim went back inside the restaurant, discouraged. She did not expect that her first dinner with her son after two years would turn out like that.

As she approached their table, Soojung was already gone.
