Jongin started eating his food, but Hyoyeon just kept staring at her cheeseburger.

"The cheeseburger's getting cooler. You should eat it now," Jongin said. But Hyoyeon kept motionless.

"You should eat it now, I paid for it."

"Ah. I-- I'm sorry," Hyoyeon apologized as she started eating her food. Jongin watched her.

Hyoyeon still feels pain in her heart, knowing that a few tables away from theirs is Sehun and Taeyeon's table. She caught a glimpse of the two while they were eating their meal together.Her body felt numb. Yes, she does know that Sehun likes Taeyeon, but seeing the two together, it feels different. It feels worse.

Jongin couldn't stand it, seeing Hyoyeon like that just because of Sehun.

"What do you like about Sehun?" he asked, frankly.

Hyoyeon was startled. Her heart skipped a beat after hearing that question. Her eyes met his eyes.

"Huh?" Hyoyeon stuttered, "I-- I-- I don't like Sehun," she said as she forced a smile.

"Kim Hyoyeon, you were never a good liar. So please stop hiding things from me," Jongin remarked.

Staring at her professor made Hyoyeon feel uneasy, so she averted her eyes away from him.

"I said I don't-- I said I don't like him," Hyoyeon answered with a gulp.

Jongin sighed, as he put his soda down, "You won't tell the truth, huh? So be it. You don't like Sehun."

Jongin quickly grabbed the cheeseburger away from Hyoyeon, placed it in a paper bag, and grabbed Hyoyeon's hand.

"Wait-- I'm not done yet with that," Hyoyeon said as she tried snatching away her food from Jongin.

"I know, we'll just look for a different place to stay," Jongin answered.

They went out of the fast food together.

That moment made Hyoyeon realize that... Jongin does care for her.

They went to the city park. Jongin took Hyoyeon to a bench, where she sat to continued eating her cheeseburger. Jongin sat beside her.

"Umm... Thanks," Hyoyeon whispered.

"For what?" he asked.
