Almost Broke
Until I Found You"My mom said that they won't be able to send me my allowance this month. Dad is sick, and my brother needs money for high school," Hyoyeon narrated.
"But, you said your landlady has been bugging you to pay your rent. What are you going to do?" Yuri asked, "if you want, you can stay at my place. Mom and Dad wouldn't mind."
"It's okay, Yul," Hyoyeon smiled, "I'll just find a way to pay my rent."
"Well... You can have a part-time job after school," Yuri suggested, "The convenience store near your apartment is in need of employees who will work on graveyard shift."
"Really?" Hyoyeon's face lit up.

It was past 5 o'clock. Jongin was standing outside the school gate, waiting for someone.
"Tsk. That girl better come," he thought to himself... He was waiting for Hyoyeon.
But there was no sign of her. Instead, he saw Yuri, alone.
"Ms. Kwon!" Jongin called out.
"Oh, good afternoon professor," Yuri greeted.
"Where's Hyoyeon?"
"She went home early. She said she needs to go to the convenience store to ap--" Yuri quickly covered with her hands.
"To what?" Jongin asked.
"Nothing sir. Hehe. I need to go. Bye!" Yuri tried to escape from the conversation, but Jongin insisted her to tell where Hyoyeon was.
"She will apply as a cashier during graveyard shift!" Yuri hesistantly answered.
Jongin quickly went inside his car, "Thank you, Ms. Kwon,"
