Unexpected
Why Me?Young Do’s POV
I had finally touched down in Busan, being an heir I often travelled to and from Busan so it was quite familiar with me. Finding Ji Young was pretty easy, you see being an heir had its perks especially being the heir to Zeus Hotel. Not to brag but my father had made a name for himself in the business industry so whenever I or my father wanted to find out something we usually got what we want. All I had to do was send a few messages and within hours I heard back from one of the hotels that a Seo Ji Young was staying in Busan.
Busan Lotte Hotel to be exact. As I got my driver to take me to Busan Lotte Hotel I saw a local stall selling little knick knacks such as bracelets, rings and necklaces.
“Driver can you stop for a sec?” The car came to a halt and I got out.
Searching through the displays a necklace with a heart inside a heart caught my eye. I thought of Ji Young straight away and I had to buy it.
As I went to pay I grabbed my wallet.
“$15 please. Would you like it to be wrapped?” The ahjumma asked me.
“Uh yes please.” Looking through my wallet I saw I only had a $100 note. No change at all.
Seeing as I was strict on time I gave the money and grabbed the necklace.
“Thank you ahjumma” I said and walked off.
“Hey your change.” She called out.
Turning around I smiled.
“Ahjumma you keep it. Buy you something warm, its cold out here.”
She smiled.
“You are such a gentlemen.” She said, I bowed and got into the car.
“Busan Lotte Hotel, step on it.” I said to my driver.
Ji Young’s POV
It was around 10:30am and I decided to take a walk around the city. The sound of people bustling trying to get to their destinations was a comforting sound to me. Strolling through the streets of Busan I thought about visiting my parents. Flagging down a taxi I asked the driver to take me to the cemetery.
As I walked to my parent’s grave I felt tears welling up in my eyes. They soon started spilling down continuously.
“Umma? Appa? I came. I miss you guys so much.” I slurred, eventually sitting down.
Placing my hand on their gravestone I brushed away the dirt residing on it.
I talked to them for a while.
“I really wish you guys could be here. Umma I’m trying my best at school but it’s so hard without you here to guide me. I want to talk to you about everything. Appa I miss your scoldings the most…” I gently laughed through the tears.
“…it is what kept me the way I am.” Staring blankly at their gravestone I thought about how god took them away from me so early. My tears kept pouring out endlessly causing my eyes to get blurr
