97 - With you, I feel safe.
Give Your Heart A BreakJennie was flipping through her notebook that writes her songs in.
She smiled as she reminisce about each song as each of them has a story behind it. She wrote a song when she felt the girls were treated unfairly by the company, she wrote tons of songs about Taehyung, she wrote a song when Euna left, and finally she flipped to the last page, where she wrote a song about B.I.
She bit on her lips as she realised B.I will never know about that song she wrote for him.
“Here.” Jennie looked up at Min who had a hot cup of coffee in her hand. “The last gift I can give to you. A cup of caramel macchiato.”
Jennie returned with a small smile and said, “My favourite. Thank you.” She cupped the coffee cup with her hands and softly blew on the drinking hole. She closed the notebook and slipped it into her bag.
Min sighed and sat beside Jennie.
“Your members should be aware by now. They didn’t get to see you since this morning.” Min said. “They probably know you are missing.” She tried to laugh it off and Jennie forced out a giggle.
Jennie turned to her, “Did anyone called you?” she asked.
“I don’t know. I turned off my phone. I can’t take calls anyway.”
Jennie nodded in understanding. She sipped the coffee slowly and stared into space.
JunHoe and Miyeon was arguing throughout the search. Miyeon wanted to go to the departure hall while JunHoe insists on checking out the cafés nearby.
“Why would she even be there?!” Miyeon slightly screamed
“Because who knows? Maybe she was thirsty and needed a drink? DUH.” JunHoe rolled his eyes.
“Ohmygod…” Miyeon huffed. “Why am I even paired up with this guy?”
JunHoe turned back and cocked an eyebrow. “Because this guy knows what he is doing.”
“I can’t believe it.” She shook her head and swung her hands up in the air. “I’m not doing this with you.” She turned back and walked the other way towards the departure hall.
“Y-yah…” he called out as he saw her walking away from him. He managed to grab her hand once again and pulled her around.
Miyeon was caught off guard with his sudden movement and crashed right into his chest. JunHoe automatically wrapped an arm around her waist to make sure she won’t fall to the side.
Their eyes automatically met and in that moment, it was just the two of them in their own world. Miyeon’s small exotic eyes blinked while Junhoe swallowed his saliva unknowingly.
Both of them broke out of it at the same time. Miyeon straightened out her shirt and hair, trying to hide her reddening face while Junhoe scratched the back of his neck. He was blushing madly as well.
“W-we... should…” JunHoe slowly spoke.
“Y-yeah totally.” Miyeon kept her eyes on the ground and nodded.
JunHoe lead the way towards the departure hall while Miyeon followed behind him from a short distance. He suddenly halted and turned slightly towards Miyeon.
He grabbed her hands again and this time, he laced his fingers with hers.
“J-junhoe…” Miyeon blinked again
He looked back at her and said, “Just let me hold your hand.”
“Jennie!” Bobby and Jisoo shouted while walking through the departure hall.
Jisoo was more desperate than he is. She wanted to cry but she can’t because some part of her tells that Jennie is still there. Her eyes were red and wet with tears as her eyebrows knit together. Jennie is a very precious person to her.
“Jen…” she whispered to herself and stood still, trying to catch her breath. She looked around as if she was lost in a sea of people.
Bobby stopped walking when he realised Jisoo was left behind. He walked back to her and held the side of her arms.
“I think you should rest, Jisoo.” He so
