Give Your Heart A BreakJennie knocked on the door twice and there was no response.
“Lizzy~” she sang as she opened the door.
Lalice was on her bed with earphones plugged into her ears, her eyes were closed and her arms were crossed behind her head. Jennie put down the bowl of ramyun on her bedside table.
“Hey…” Jennie lightly shook her tummy as she sat on the bed, waking Lalice up.
“I’ve saved some ramyun for you. The maknaes were really eyeing for yours.” Jennie laughed.
“Oh… thanks...” Lalice said as she sat up on her bed. Jennie handed her the bowl and a pair of chopsticks.
Lalice dug into the bowl, slurping the noodles loudly. Jennie chuckled at her buddy’s silliness. Lalice gave her a smile with noodles hanging from .
“Hey Liz…” Jennie quietly asked.
“Hmm?” she replied between slurps.
“Are you okay? We noticed you were a bit odd since we left the building. Was it something I said?”
Lalice put the bowl down on her lap. She then looked up to Jennie’s worried face.
“Naah, I’m fine. Just a little tired, that’s all. “
“Are you sure? Because you know… you can tell me anything right? We share our joys and pains together.”
“Yes, I’m sure. Don’t worry, Jen Jen. I’m fine.”
The pair continued their small talk until Lalice was done with her bowl of noodles. Jennie took the empty bowl and stood up, wanting to go to the kitchen.
“Jen Jen?” Lalice called out to her leader.
“Hmm?” Jennie turned around.
“I think you’re a very lucky person. You just haven’t realised it.”
“What do you mean, Lizzy?”
Lalice looked away. “I’m tired Jen Jen aah. Goodnight!” she faked a yawn and pulled up her blankets.
