"Yixing can we talk about something kind of important." Jongdae said as walked into the living, disturbing his step-father from his mellow dramatic dramas.

Yixing paused the television and made room on the couch for his nervous step-son to sit down. The normally confident Jongdae was beyond nervous for whatever reason. Once he sat down he couldn't even make eye contact with Yixing instead he was looking off into space and playing with his thumbs.

"Is everything alright Jongdae? You don't look so good."

"I think I have a girlfriend."

Yixing nearly choked on his water when the younger boy finally confessed what was wrong. Wiping the remaining water from the corner of his lips he placed his cup back on the coaster and looked at Jongdae.

"I don't see how that's a problem. It's not like I have a problem with it or anything, your father might but-"

"It's not that. It's just. When I talk to her I sound stupid and I don't want her to think I'm a complete idiot. Then when I walk her home sometimes she wants to kiss me but I panicked and made up excuses. Worst of all at night when we text she says all these sentimental things and I never know what to say back."

"Jongdae calm down. You're only fifteen I doubt she expects much from you, just be yourself."

"Be myself? How do you even do that? When I try to act "normal" I say the stupidest things all the time. I don't want her to think that I'm weird."

"She's already dating you she can't think you're weird. I think you're pretty cool."

"See when it comes from you I feel like a loser."

"Am I not hip enough to call you cool?"

"You're just really old."

"Hey I-"

"Are you really going to take advice from Yixing here?" Kyungsoo said as he walked into the living room and plopping himself down on the couch across from them.

"I can't take to dad about it so why not?"

"He's old he doesn't know anything about kids these days."

"Excuse me I'm right here." Yixing piped in.

"Listen Jongdae if you want her to think you're "cool" don't be yourself."

"Don't listen to him Jongdae Kyungsoo's doesn't know anything about girls."

"Oh and you do?"

"I dated my fair share of girls back when I was your age."

"Aren't you gay?"

"My uality is another story for a different time. Anyway just do the opposite of what Kyungsoo tells you and you will be fine."

"Okay."

"Gosh Yixing you're going to ruin their relationship."

Kyungsoo got up from his spot on the couch and was going to make his way back upstairs to his bedroom when Jongdae's phone begun to vibrate. His younger brother was quick to pick up his phone and type back a lengthy response to the sender.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm responding to Eunji's text message."

"So quick?"

"Am I not suppose to?"

"No! You have to follow the '369' rule idiot."

"I don't even know what that is."

"You're suppose to wait exactly three minutes to respond to a text message, you can only use less than six emoticons and you can't text the person passed nine at night. By the looks of it you're breaking all those rules, this is why she probably thinks you're a loser."

"Don't listen to your brother Jongdae, you don't need to follow no silly rule just to keep a girlfriend."

"You're right. Thanks Yixing." Jongdae grabbed his cell phone any made his way back upstairs to his bedroom.

"Did you really just lie to him about using that rule when you used it on dad?"

"Maybe I did."

"You were the one to even tell me about it."

"He'll be alright."

A/N: Just so you guys know these are a drabble series so they don't follow any chronological order. Their ages range through the entire series so this scene happened a year before the previous chapter which explains why kyungsoo doesn't bring up the bathroom incident because it hasn't happened yet..
