Chapter 13
Healing TaskTaeyeon’s POV:
I walked towards the kitchen table, greeting the members in the process. As if on routine, I grabbed a plate and took the seat beside Tiffany.
“Morning” I greeted the eye-smiling girl, only to receive a cold shoulder in return. My smile faded as I released a sigh. Knowing her well, I couldn’t blame her. I tried thinking of a way to approach the topic without making the situation worse.
“Mad that I drank some of your Red Bull?” I joked to try to ease up the girl beside me.
“Stupid. Why are you joking around?” She said it in a flat tone, but the crack in her smile didn't leave unnoticed.
“ Well... what am I supposed to do when you’re mad at me?” I folded my arms in front of me and raised a brow to the sulking girl.
“ Instead of making a joke, you could admit you were in the wrong, plead for forgiveness, or something along those lines.”
Back no longer facing me, she looked at me. Her eyes reflected a slight hint of anger, but her face said otherwise as it was soft... comforting in a way that I felt a wave of guilt hit me. Brushing those thoughts away, I persisted with a light mood.

“ You know, that’s the reason why you sing OSTs instead of actually acting in the drama. Can’t I get a serious reply for just this once, TaeTae?” Ooh the sarcasm...
“ Slightly dizzy, but I feel fine. Happy?”
Finding that joking around to lighten up the mood was no longer necessary, I gave her a genuine response.
“ Very. Now eat. I’ll nag you later when you feel better.”
She gave me the eye-smile I’m used to seeing from her and I knew part of the girl had forgiven me. I smiled back and stood up once more to place food in my plate.
“ Looks good. Who cooked?” I asked the members when I saw the edible food presented nicely on the table.
“ Guess.” Yuri answered.
I gave it a quick thought before giving up.
“ I know it’s not Jessica” I smiled softly, releasing a small laugh.
The dining room erupted in laughter as the said girl’s face reddened from the remark.
A few days without interaction, I found my progress falling back. If she wasn't going to initiate it, I might as well do so.
“ It wasn't me” She smiled at me and my hea
