The day went by rather slowly for the three lads. While they were walking down the hall way towards the cafeteria, Jina ran to Chaerin.

"Chaerin-ah, Chaerin-ah! Where have you been? I've been looking every where for you!" Jina said panting.

"Unnie clam down! What do you want that you need me so badly?" Chaerin chuckled.

"Sh-showcase sign up list." Jina said.

With that, Chaerin quickly ran towards the school's big notice board. I have to sign up! Chaerin thought, determined.

When she arrived, alot of people were blocking her way. Then, came a panting Myungsoo, Ki Kwang and Jina.

"What's the showcase?" Myungsoo asked between pants.

"It's where you showcase your talent." Chaerin said, still waiting for people to move away.

"Like a talent show?" 

"Yeah."

"Like what?"

"In this very school, everyone loves to sing and dance the most!"

"Anyone can join? Even people from other schools?"

"Yeah, but the person must know someone that goes to this very school. Ouh! And this year multiple agencies are coming over!" Chaerin squeled.

 “Wow. Can my friends from my old school join then?”

“Yup. This year is gonna be huge! I can’t wait.”

When people started clearing, Chaerin quickly picked up the pen available and scribbled her group’s name.

“2NE1? Cool name!” Myungsoo said.

“Thanks. Here, write down your group’s name.” Chaerin handed the pen to Myungsoo.

Myungsoo then wrote his name and scanned the list. He then realized, he was the 30^th to write his name.

“Wow! There are a lot of people signing up! Won’t the show be very long then?”

“Yup. We used to have auditions but it was changed this year, ‘cause the agencies are really looking for real talent here.”

“Hey, Ki Kwang! Aren’t you joining?” Myungsoo asked him.

“I joined. Jun Hyung wrote on it already. It’s called ‘Beast’.”

Myungsoo then scanned the list and stopped at its name. But Myungsoo saw a name that caught his eyes.

“Hey, who’s in this group, called f(x)?”

“Ouh! Their queenkas too! They participate every year. There’s Victoria unnie, Amber, Luna, Krystal and Sulli. Why?” Ki Kwang asked.

“Nothing. I just thought that the name was eye-catching, that’s all.”

“Chaerin-ah! This year you must win the MVP award! It’s your turn!” Jina said, determined.

The three juniors laughed at the cute senior. Jina then decided to leave the three of them. Chaerin’s stomach started to grumble. Loudly. The two boys chuckled at the hungry girl. The three decided to eat at the fast food restaurant nearby to fill their empty stomach.

“So, Myungsoo, what do you think of this school so far?” Asked Ki Kwang in between bites.

“It’s fine. But I do miss my friends back at my old school.”Myungsoo said.

“Who are your friends?” Chaerin asked curiously. Right then, Myungsoo’s phone rang. He checked the caller. He then picked it up.

“Yeah.. sure… okay.. bye..” And Myungsoo hung up.

“Is it okay if Woo Hyun joins us?” Myungsoo asked.

“Yeah, no worries, the more the merrier!” Chaerin said cutely.

When Woo Hyun arrived, he stole one of Myungsoo’s fries and smiled.

“Hey!” Chaerin said nicely.

“Hi.” Woo Hyun smiled. Then, there was an awkward silence.

“Hey, I gotta go. I have to go practice for the showcase.” Ki Kwang said, checking the time on his phone.

“Okay, see ya!”

“Bye bye!”

“Nice meeting you.” Woo Hyun said causing Myungsoo and Chaerin to laugh.

“What?” Woo Hyun asked confusedly.

“You only met him today and you guys didn’t even talk.” Myungsoo said in between laughs.

Woo Hyun smiled sheepishly.

“Oh, by the way, I signed Infinite in the showcase.” Myungsoo said.

“I know, I saw and I told the boys already!” Woo Hyun said coolly.

“So, they are coming here? That’s great!” Myungsoo said happily.

“Which brings me back to my question! Who are your friends? I bet they’re as cool as you guys are!” Chaerin said warming up to them.

“There are seven of us. Sunggyu, Dongwoo, Hoya, Sungyeol, Sungjong, me and Myungsoo. Sunggyu is the oldest, Dongwoo is second oldest. Me, Hoya, Sungyeol and Myungsoo are the same age. While Sungjong is the maknae.” Woo Hyun introduced.

Chaerin noded, processing everything her brain. “Well, good luck to you guys for the showcase!” Chaerin cheered. “Any who, what do you think of this school so far?” Chaerin asked Woo Hyun.

“It’s fine…” Woo Hyun said unconvincingly. “What’s wrong? Did something bad happen?” Chaerin asked worriedly.

“Nah, I don’t wanna talk about it.” Woo Hyun said sadly.

“Hey, if you don’t wanna talk about it, it’s okay. But just know that we’re gonna be here for you okay?” Chaerin smiled.

Woo Hyun noded and gave a sincere smile. “Thanks. The world needs more people like you.”

Chaerin gave him a sweet smile and blushed at the compliment. 

“Hey, Chaerin, can I get your phone number? You know, so that maybe one day, I need to talk to you about stuff that I don’t want Myungsoo to know…”

“Sure, give me your phone.” Woo Hyun handed her his phone and she saved her number in it. “Text me when you wanna!” Woo Hyun looked at the number in delight. Myungsoo who witnessed everything felt… jealous? He doesn’t know for sure.

“So, any girls that caught your attention recently?” Chaerin asks while wiggling her eyebrows like it was such a normal question.

“Umm….” Myungsoo and Woo Hyun were both speechless. “Hehe. I was just kidding. But if you guys do, tell me, okay?” Chaerin giggled. “OKAY!” the boys said in unison. “Promise?” Chaerin asked extending her pinky. “Promise.” Myungsoo and Woo Hyun say in unison again and pinky promised Chaerin.
