“YAH! D- Oh? You’re up already?” (J)
Jessica quietly made her way over to her brother’s bed, sitting down at the edge of it as she looked at her brother. Daehyun turned to look at her older sister, a grin slowly making itself known. This.. worried Jessica a bit.
“Why are you grinning like that?” (J)
“Sooyoung said that she got Yoona to join our group!” (DH)
“Eh? Why are you so happy about that?” (J)
“Yoona’s pretty cute.” (DH)
“Omo.. look at this guy! What about Young Jae?” (J)
“Eh? I told you that I don’t like guys!” (DH)
“Okay, okay. But if you break that boys’ heart, I’ll hunt you down!” (J)
“Noona! I thought you were supposed to be my sibling!” (DH)
“So?! That boy was so cute and adorable, unlike you!” (J)
“Aish.. arasseo! He can be your brother instead!” (DH)
The pair took turns sticking their tongues out at each other before Jessica left to let Daehyun get ready for the day. Daehyun sat there for a few minutes though, as his thoughts wandered to Young Jae. This wasn’t the first time that he had been asked out by a guy, but.. this was definitely the first time that he has been thinking about it so much. He ruffled his hair in frustration before he got up out of bed to get ready for the day.

“Byeee Daehyun! Do well in school!” (J)
“Okay Noona... Please, go now.” (DH)
“Omo.. trying to chase your sister away?” (J)
“Yes, I am. Please go.” (DH)
“Just for that, I am staying just a few more seconds!” (J)
“At least go back into the car..” (DH)
Daehyun sighed as Jessica tightened her hold on him. He could feel the many eyes on them and knew that rumors would be flying around pretty soon. Sure, it didn’t phase him all that much, but he still had to deal with them. Luckily, Sooyoung and Yoona were making their way up to them.
“Daehyun! Who’s this pretty girl holding onto you?!” (SY)
“Omo! Pretty? Oh! Sooyoung, you look so pretty these days!” (J)
Jessica had already let go of Daehyun and was now facing both Sooyoung and Yoona. Sooyoung’s eyes widened before she smiled and pulled Jessica in for a hug.
“Unnie~! It’s been so long!” (SY)
“And who is this?” (J)
Sooyoung let go of Jessica as they both looked at Yoona. Yoona looked from one girl to another before a smile showed up on her face. She quickly bowed before looking down towards Jessica. What? These two girls basically towered over Jessica.
“Annyeonghasaeyo! My name is Im Yoona! It’s a pleasure to meet you, Unnie.” (YA) As she spoke, Yoona quickly adjusted her guitar since it has slipped a bit when she bowed.
“Omo.. so you’re the famous Yoona.” (J)
“Famous..?” (YA)
Yoona looked puzzled before Jessica leaned in close to inspect her. She peered at Yoona, looking her up and down before her eyes landed back onto her face. Yoona felt awkward and a little embarrassed, but she toughed it out since it was someone older than her. At least, she assumed it was someone older than her. After a few more seconds of staring, Jessica finally let out a small sigh before smiling.
“Okay! You pass! For now of course..” (J)
“Um.. what did I pass.. exactly?” (YA)
“Inspection! Of course, you can’t date Dae-” (J)
Daehyun instantly put a hand to Jessica’s mouth, muffling whatever else that she had planned on saying. He smiled nervously as he looked at the other two girls, whom both stared on with confusion clear on their faces.
“Don’t mind her. She hasn’t taken her medicine yet.” (DH)
Despite being muffled, Jessica shut her eyes tightly as she opened as wide as possible before letting out a screech at the top of her lungs. The three closest to her quckly put their hands up to their eyes, but they couldn’t fully block out the dolphin screech. Of course, it was even worse when Daehyun had let go of his sister’s mouth. Jessica turned to face her brother before kicking his leg.
“YAH! Don’t do that ever again! And what medicine?! I’m not some senile, old loon!” (J)
“Aigoo.. Noona, go to work before you deafen people!” (DH)
“Arasseo! But I’m getting you back for this later!” (J)
With a simple wave to Sooyoung and Yoona, Jessica quickly made her way back to her car, which was currently waiting for her in its parking spot. Daehyun sighed before he felt bony fingers poking rather roughly at his shoulder.
“Yah, Jung Daehyun. What was she going to say?” (SY)
“Nothing. Now.. stop poking me!” (DH)
Just as Daehyun started turning to face Sooyoung, his eyes widened as it landed on Young Jae, whom only stared back with equally widened eyes. They stared at each other, both frozen in place. If it wasn’t for the fact that Myungsoo had pulled his attention away, then they probably would have stared for ages.
“Young Jae, what are you doing? Let’s go.” (L)
“YAH! Jung Daehyun! Are you listening to me?!” (SY)
Young Jae turned to look at Myungsoo before he nodded and began walking once more. Even when he was with his friends, Young Jae couldn’t help but glance over at Daehyun every now and then before finally entering the school building.
Once Young Jae was no longer in his sights, Daehyun finally pulled himself back to Earth. He instantly jumped back a bit when he finally realized how close Sooyoung was to his face. “W-Why are you so close?!” (DH)
“Because you’re not paying attention! Though.. why were you staring at Young Jae like that?” (SY)
“H-Huh..? I wasn’t staring at Young Jae!” (DH)
“Yea you were! Your eyes were basically glued on him!” (SY)
“Do you like Young Jae?” (YA)
“Aish.. not you too, Yoona!” (DH)
“Oppa.. we both saw you.” (YA)
“H-Hey, look at the time! Can’t be late, gotta go!” (DH)
“J-JUNG DAEHYUN, YAH!” (SY)
Sooyoung sighed as Daehyun quickly left her sights. She was starting to question Daehyun. He always did say that he was straight, but this incident alone made her think otherwise. She looked at Yoona with a questioning look, but she only shrugged her shoulders.
“Let’s go. We’re going to be late.” (YA)
“Okay. Lead the way.” (SY)

During class, Daehyun couldn’t help but feel as if someone was staring at him. Sadly for him, it was true. Sooyoung was practically drilling away at Daehyun with her eyes. She was trying to hard to attempt to figure out what he was thinking. Daehyun rarely kept secrets, but when he did, it just drove her crazy!
“Miss Choi. Is Mister Jung’s head more interesting than my lesson?”
Sooyoung slowly turned her head to look at the teaching, staring for a brief moment. After a few blinks, it finally hit her that she was still in class. Her eyes widened as she quickly shook her head.
“Then please pay attention! Next time, you’re standing out in the hallway!”
“Y-Yes sir..” (SY)
Sooyoung slowly sunk in her seat as she raised her textbook in an attempt to hide herself. However, she slowly began coming up with a plan to figure out what really was on Daehyun’s head. Of course, she hoped that she would be able to figure it out soon rather than later.

“Hey Daehyun. Was your sister here today?” (BY)
“Yea, why?” (DH)
“MAN! Why didn’t you text me or something?! She’s smoking hot!” (BY)
“I don’t need to watch my best friend drooling over my sister!” (DH)
“Man, I need to come over to your apartment more often!” (BY)
“Don’t even try it, Yongguk!” (DH)
“Oh, come on man! You know I got a thing for your sister!” (BY)
“GAH! Stop it! She’s too old for you anyway!” (DH)
“... That’s why I like it.” (BY)
Daehyun face palmed, sighing as he looked back to his friend whom.. was making very creepy faces. This was probably one of the other main reasons why he didn’t like when his older sister dropped him off to school. Yongguk always bugged him about it and Daehyun knew that he had a thing for older women.
“Um..” (YJ)
Daehyun looked up and nearly fell out of his seat the second his eyes landed on Young Jae. The younger male seemed to be a bit embarrassed as he stood there. He was fiddling with his fingers and was.. he blushing?! Daehyun’s eyes widened a bit before he regained his composure and cleared his throat.
“Y-Yea? What is it, Young Jae?” (DH)
“W-Well.. you see..” (YJ)
Young Jae only seemed to turn a darker shade of pink as he stood there, trying to figure out whether this had been a good idea or not. Yongguk was inwardly laughing as he made it seem like he wasn’t listening in on their conversation. Daehyun already knew that Yongguk was going to about this later, but did he care for the time being? No. He was more curious as to what Young Jae was trying to say.
“Daehyun.. I.. I was wondering i-if you would.. um..” (YJ)
“Young Jae.” (DH)
Young Jae looked up at Daehyun as he instantly quieted himself. It was technically rude of Daehyun to cut Young Jae off like this, but Young Jae was really hoping that Daehyun was going to say something else. Anything to possibly help him gain more confidence in himself. Of course.. it seemed like Daehyun didn't seem to get it right on the dot.
“Do you want to hang out on Saturday?" (DH)
“W-W-What?” (YJ)
“Will you hang out. With me. This Saturday.” (DH) Young Jae’s eyes widened as he stared at Daehyun. His ears really weren’t deceiving him. Young Jae was a deep shade of red as he fiddled with his fingers. Sure, it wasn't what he was hoping for, but it was close enough.
“B-B-But.. I...” (YJ)
“Didn’t you come here to ask me to hang out with you though?” (DH) Young Jae lowered his head before sheepishly nodding. He didn't really know how else to change it. Daehyun grinned as he got to his feet and took a hold of Young Jae’s hands, shaking them happily.
“Good! I’ll see you at two then with everyone else?” (DH)
Young Jae was completely at a loss of words. Since words seemed to be failing him, he rapidly nodded his head. He was starting to get dizzy from how much blood was currently pumping into his head. He just wanted to quickly get out of there before he ended up fainting.
“Great! We’ll see you then!” (DH)
Young Jae only nodded his head as he quickly turned around and fled from the classroom. He didn’t get very far before he found two different arms wrapping around his shoulders and dragging him downwards a bit as the pair continued walking alongside him.
“How did it go? Did you chicken out?” (L)
“H-He... He asked me to hang out..” (YJ)
“Woah, wait what?! How did it end up like that?!” (HC)
“Maybe he really did chicken out..” (L)
“W-What?! I t-tried but...” (YJ)
“It’s possible! You would have a date now if you had just said it.” (HC)
“But that’s because..” (YJ)
“You could always text him and clear it up..” (L)
“W-Well that’s..” (YJ)
“He could like you. He was staring at you earlier this morning..” (L)
Young Jae went quiet as he thought for a moment. Was it really true that Daehyun could possibly like him? He just had to figure it out somehow. One way or another, he was going to get that date.. maybe. It seemed a bit too difficult for him. He has never had to think about this before!

Daehyun sat back down as he watched the retreating form of Young Jae disappear. He chuckled a bit before turning his gaze to Yongguk, whom was only grinning. He silently cursed himself for forgetting that Yongguk had been sitting there the entire time. Of course, he felt himself turning heating up. Why? He didn't really know why he was feeling like this.
“Don’t start, Yongguk.” (DH)
“I knew it.” (BY)
“Yongguk...” (DH)
“I knew you had the hots for him!” (BY)
“Hots for.. who?” (SY)
Sooyoung sat down next to them, her eyes widening as a large smile stayed on her face. She looked from one boy to the other, really hoping for some juicy information. She knew that they were talking about Daehyun and the fact that Yongguk said ‘him’ must have meant that Daehyun liked a boy! Sure, it meant that she probably had little to no chance with Daehyun at this point, but just imagine! Daehyun, with a boy! That was basically the only way she would be entirely okay with losing Daehyun in the romantic sense! Of course, this didn’t make much sense to her either.
“He’s going out with Young Jae.” (BY)
"I didn-" (DH)
“No way! Jin jja?!” (SY)
“Yea. He’s going out with him this Saturday!” (BY)
“Are you two ahjumma’s done?!” (DH)
“Daehyun! I can’t believe it! You’re finally going out on a date!” (SY)
“YAH! It's not a date! We're just hanging out and you two are coming!” (DH)
“Omo? It's not a date? But you've never gone on one before!” (SY)
“That’s because you chase away all potential girlfriends!” (DH)
“That’s because I refuse to let you have a girlfriend that isn’t me!” (SY)
“And you don’t chase away the boys?!” (DH)
“Because it’s just so cute to see two boys together!” (SY)
Sooyoung got to her feet as she looked up towards the ceiling. A single fist held to her chest as she gracefully held her other hand out and up towards the ceiling. Sooyoung basically looked like a drama student by this point, which she was. She posed like this for a good few seconds before she turned to look back at Daehyun.
“Daehyun! You have to marry him!” (SY)
“YAH! I’M ONLY HANGING OUT WITH HIM!” (DH)
“But it’s official! I just HAVE to ship you two together! I mean, come on! The y dancer and the cute nerd! It’s just a couple made in heaven!” (SY)
“The two have nothing in common!” (DH)
“Yea, but you’re both cute! So it’s alright if they don’t have much in common!” (SY)
Daehyun sighed. He really had no idea how to respond to Sooyoung at this point. Even Yongguk seemed to be at a loss for words. The best thing to do in a situation like this was to.. well, change the subject! It seemed to work.. most of the time.
“So, we just need one more member, right?” (DH)
“Yea. Have any ideas who to ask?” (BY)
“What about Myungsoo?” (SY)
“Who?” (DH)
“That guy we met yesterday that was with Young Jae.” (SY)
“What about him?” (DH)
“I heard that he’s a strong dancer. Plus, he has a strong face.” (SY)
“Hey now! I have a pretty strong face also.” (BY)
“Yea, but you look like you want to punch someone out.” (DH)
“Yea. The first one I want to punch out is you.” (BY)
Yongguk sat forward as he gave Daehyun a light punch to his arm. Both males smiled as Yongguk slouched back into his seat. Sooyoung only rolled her eyes as a smile played across her face also.
“Anyway.. Myungsoo seems like our only other option.” (SY)
“Well, we have to see how good at dancing he really is.” (DH)
“Why don’t you go ask him?” (SY)
“Why me? It was your idea.” (DH)
“Because you’re dating his best friend!” (DH)
“I-I am not!” (DH)
“Yea you are. Just accept it already.” (BY)
“I am not! And that doesn’t mean that he’s going to say yes to me, even if I ask him!” (DH)
“Why not ask Young Jae to ask him?” (BY)
“Wouldn’t it seem like I’m using him then?” (DH)
“I guess that’s out of the option then..” (BY)
“Don’t worry! I can ask Myungsoo then!” (SY)
“Eh? Why you?” (DH)
“Well, you can’t do it and he’s most likely scared of Yongguk.” (SY)
“Hey now! I’m not THAT scary!” (BY)
“Either way, it’s hard to say no to a cute girl!” (SY)
Daehyun only sighed once more as Sooyoung nodded to her own statement. Neither Daehyun or Yongguk seemed to say anything though, which caused Sooyoung to pout and begin constantly slapping both of them on their arms.
“YAH! I AM CUTE!” (SY)
“OKAY, JUST STOP HITTING US!” (DH)
“Good. Now, I just have to practice ~” (SY)
Daehyun and Yongguk both felt pretty awkward when Sooyoung began posing randomly in her seat. Here and there, she would have good poses that could possibly attract someone however.. the majority of the poses were a bit... laughable. It was almost like she was overdoing it on purpose.
“That’s going to scare him away!” (DH)
“I know what I’m doing! Don’t worry Daehyun. I got this!” (SY)
“Then do I get to worry?” (BY)
“NO! You can’t either, because I’m going to do it perfectly! You watch. I’ll get him to say yes in a heartbeat! You’ll see, oppa’s.” (SY)
What else was there to do except move to the side and watch the disaster take place? Yongguk looked at his watch before he quickly got to his feet, causing the other two to look up at him. “Hey. Where are you going?” (DH)
“I have to go meet someone about.. something.” (BY) Yongguk checked his watch again before rubbing the back of his head. It was unusual of him to keep secrets, but then again.. no one really pried into his privacy. “I gotta go before break is over.” (BY)
“Ooh, well.. okay. I’ll tell you how the tragedy go-” (DH) Sooyoung smacked the backside of Daehyun’s head, cutting him off before he could finish the rest of his sentence. He glared at Sooyoung, whom only ignored him by looking up at Yongguk.
“Okay! Make sure to get back in time!” (SY) Yongguk nodded before leaving the pair alone.
