SooKris - Lost in Translation
There's Something About Sooyoung [One-Shots]Sooyoung pinched herself for the nth time, trying desperately to stay awake from the cloud of boredom that hovered over her as she stared blankly at the professor’s mouth that spoke unknown things. For the past thirty minutes, Mr. Park had been going on about the square root of this and that…or was it the velocity? The tall girl had no idea as her attention kept drifting away to lalaland.
She nudged her head lightly against the window to her side,
What on earth am I doing here?
She wondered, randomly tracing her fingertips along the glass. She wished that time would slip on by like quick sand…
Just then a figure down below caught her eye.
He pulled out of the silver automobile; his long legs evident as his height it seemed was an attractive feature right off the bat. Sooyoung had never seen him before she concluded; the jet black hair that graced his head with his unique sun kissed glow to his skin were all foreign to her.
Yes, she was interested…or more so, greatly intrigued.
She watched him make his way to the entrance of the school, his every step as if he was walking down a runway.
Who the hell is the guy?
Her curiosity really burnt through her mind. She squinted her eyes, trying to capture every last bit of him before he disappeared inside.
“Choi Sooyoung!” Mr. Park sternly yelled as he pointed at the girl with the bit of chalk crushed between his fingers full of anger.
The dazed student bit her bottom lip warily while slowly she turned her head back to the front of the room. Prepared for the all too familiar rant of ‘how to act like a proper student’, she pushed herself off her seat and hung her head down low.
A sudden knock on the door saved her from the bit of embarrassment as Sooyoung let out a sigh of relief. She promised herself that she’d be forever grateful to whoever the life saver was. She raised her head, her eyes landing on an all too familiar figure.
“Annyeonghaseyo. Kris imnida.”
The voice was stunningly low, bringing out the oohs and aahs of the female crowd and the judgemental glares of jealousy from the male classmates. Sooyoung however, just quietly stared at him.
Kris. Kris... She repeated the name silently in her mind.
The dashingly handsome newbie continued on with his introduction, mentioning that he's a Chinese Canadian who was now living in Korea…
Who the hell was this masterpiece of a being?
“Have a seat behind that one,” Mr. Park said as he pointed at Sooyoung, all eyes still transfixed with his straight out of a magazine appearance.
Kris strutted his way toward her and Sooyoung swore that an imaginary spotlight kept shining down on him, as light somehow seemed to hit his every detail in all the right places.
“Uhmm..excuse me,” he smirked, as he waited for the girl to it
