A/N: Another ChangSoo! LOL I think I'm a biased towards em haha. But I just HAD to with the pictures that have been spreading like wild fire these days ohmygah AMAZEBALLS I tell ya ^_^ Credit to picture used goes to its rightful owner!

& Yes, I know that the events don't quite entertwine nicely with the actual scheds IRL, but this is what I came up with so bear with me on that T.T

==========================================

Changmin’s POV

I hung up the phone that day and the sound of the dead line never made me feel more incomplete than ever before.

--

I sat calmly staring into the mirror before me. I seemed to be shaking more so than ever before. It was strange, an uncontrollable reaction for one reason or another.

My eyes laid itself on Yunho hyung. Confident and prepared. He danced the choreography over and over again at the corner, arms and legs all hitting the correct moves at the right timing. For some reason, the fact that he was so relaxed made me feel more abnormal.

That day was far from a normal day…far from a day to feel so relaxed.

I called in hoping to find a familiar voice to cheer me on before the first performance for our new single. After all these years I still develop those little stage jitters and the antidote to cure this childish disease? All directions pointed to a tall geek by the name Cho Kyuhyun, known more formally to me as my best friend.

Kyuhyun was one of the very few, if not the only one who’d pick up my call where ever and when ever.

But I got neither the cheerful voice nor the spike of encouragement that I had planned on hearing. Instead, I was greeted with the voice of Super Junior’s manager hyung. It wouldn’t have been a big deal, but the tone was odd and I knew there was an underlying message hidden underneath the quick hello.

An accident apparently…that’s what he said it was.

“Your hoobae, an SNSD member got in a car accident today.”

That’s how it started. The word accident in itself was more than enough to make my nerves jump in fear, but my hoobaes, SNSD? They’re all special to me…

I remember my voice getting caught in an invisible knot formed at the notch of my throat. Pulling tightly at my vocal cords, I became a mute…or maybe it was because I blanked out. I had nothing to say…I didn’t know what to say.

“Everyone’s getting ready at the moment to visit Sooyoung-ssi at the hospital.”

Out of all people it was Sooyoung.

Choi Sooyoung --the girl who lived up to her Summer name to the fullest. Although we weren’t exactly the closest or even quite in actual friendly terms, I had a decent amount of knowledge about the tall girl. She has the brightest smile and the warmest personality to match.

It was difficult for me to picture her otherwise. Broken, hurt and in pain…words that should never be accompanied by someone as joyful as her, but that was the fact of the moment.

“Mianhae Changmin, but we need to get going now. It’s quite a long drive to the hospital. Fighting ne? TVXQ FIGHTING!”

“Chahm-si-mahn-yo, wait hyung!!”

He hung up just like that. My eyes filled up with water…tears forming from a place deep within me that I didn’t know existed. Shaking, I pulled my phone down away from my ear; unable to listen to the dead line any longer. Such a painful noise, heartbreaking if one really ever pondered about it; who ever came up with a dreadful thing?

She got in a car accident. Not just an ordinary bump or scratch to the vehicle, but one that required hospital treatment.

“Changmin, Yunho...sound check. You’re on live in 2 minutes.”

I heard the PD scream into our waiting room, but I couldn’t comprehend any of it. I was somewhere else mentally.

Choi Sooyoung was currently sitting or maybe even lying somewhere surrounded by the bland cream white colour walls. The sounds of machinery and scent of medicine flowing to her made my knees wobble in worry.

It just didn’t sit right with me. The words didn’t seem right and I was doubtful that they ever would be.

“Camera ready. Music cue!”

B.U.T (BE-AU-TY) pounded through the sound system, running through the room.

My body ached in pain despite the lack of physical exhaustion that occurred. I felt like a lifeless puppet waiting desperately for someone to pull on my strings, but unfortunately they were cut. My mind was a mess, with thoughts rummaging through bits and bits disintegrating further away from everything. My heart came to a stand still as the sudden news was too surreal for a delicate person like me.

But I’m a professional. An idol to
