Before their eyes, a tall, brown haired girl with tan skin was seemingly attached to the tree.

 

"What do we do?" Chen asked, looking in amazement, "she's practically a part of the tree."

 

Xiumin took careful steps towards the girl, stopping just in front of her.  

 

"She's not completely attached, we just have to break the bark and figure out how to get her out of here."

 

Chen huffed, "easier said than done, Pearl said that we couldn't touch her"

 

Xiumin paused "Oh yeah..."

 

"Well... I could freeze her" 

 

"Do you want to kill her?!" Chen screamed at him, flapping his arms

 

"Just a suggestion" Xiumin replied, looking utterly lost

 

"Pearl was unconscious when Suho and Kyungsoo brought her back... Maybe she'll do the same thing" 

 

"I guess that's our best bet isn't it" Chen sighed looking defeated

 

Xiumin carefully froze the bark surrounding the legend before breaking it off when it was brittle enough.

 

Xiumin then gently pulled the legend into his arms as Chen zapped off the last piece and then they were sprinting out of there.

Pearl looked up as they both ran through the barrier carrying the, thankfully, still unconscious legend and lay her on the ground in front of Lay.

 

Lay gave her a once over before looking up in confusion

 

"She's not hurt..." 

 

Pearl's eyes widened

 

She quickly pulled her fellow legend's pants bottom up to reveal an anklet with a gem and a sign that looked... Dead

 

"She lost her will..."

 

"Maybe it needs new batteries?" Kai suggested

 

Tao just rolled his before smacking the younger boy again

 

"Do you really even think before you say something"
