『The Bond』

▶ They went into their rooms, sitting on the beds. EXO started confessing their feelings.

"Flashback"

▶ Five days ago, before Rain Pack moved in.

EXO decided to have a meeting that night. They discussed everything about the performance.

"So, what will we sing?" Chanyeol asked excitedly.

"I bet this is gonna be a great performance," Kai added.

"Then what's the plan, hyungs?" Sehun asked.

"Are you sure about this?" Tao asked, reassuring the leaders.

"GUYS! HOLD UP! SAVE ALL THE QUESTIONS FOR LATER!" Suho stopped the nonstop-bombarding-questions members, raising and shaking his hands. Kris massaged his temple and shook his head at their behavior.

The others shut their mouths at the leader's order, some pouting and showing their puppy eyes.

Suho and D.O looked at each other and D.O sighed.

"So, here's the thing. We all wanna bond to them, right?" he asked. They nodded and smiled willingly at the question, their minds immediately went to the girls.

"If we really do want to bond to them, we'll have to show them what we've got. You know, show 'em good stuff, like our songs," he added.

They thought about it. True, they can sing, dance, and rap well. They have plenty of talents. They were just too nervous and awkward to show it to girls, especially the one they've fallen in love with.

Silence filled the room until even the breeze of the wind, the chirps of the crickets, and the hoots of the owls could be heard.

"So, then.. it's back to my question. What will we sing?" Chanyeol asked.

Suddenly, Luhan's head snapped up, as if an invisible light bulb appeared above his head. "I think I've got an idea."

All eyes headed towards him in a flash. The Chinese Beta crossed his fingers and rested his head on them.

"How about... K guys will sing 'My Lady', then M will sing 'Don't Go'?" he suggested, smiling a bit.

"Maybe then we'll dance 'Into Your World' altogether?" Xiumin added, making the smile wider.

EXO immediately thought it was a good idea. A collaboration of dance, voice, and rap. It would turn out to be a perfect performance. They nodded in agreement.

"After the performance, we'll have to confess. We'll take them to our rooms," Lay added. Chen let out a soft laugh.

"Like, what? We'll be, like, proposing to them?"

"Yeah, stuff like that. They will be our mates for life, after all."

Chen stayed silent and looked down for a while. Kai who was sitting beside him nudged his arm and chuckled.

"What's wrong with that, hyung? Can't really deal with girls, hmm?" he asked in a slight teasing tone. Chen nudged him back. "Easy for you to say, Casanova," he fired, which made the younger roll his eyes. Tao chuckled at his Tracker dongsaeng.

Sehun pulled his left leg closer and hugged it, letting his right leg lie straight on his bed. "Maybe we should practice saying it..." he mumbled, but loud enough for the others to hear. They looked at each other in reassurance.

"O...kay..." they said in unison.

"So, here's how it goes out. We send them an invitation, then we perform, take them to our rooms, confess, and make the bond, right?" Kris recalled all the events together, the others nodded.

"Make sure it turns out great, okay? We all want this to be perfect," he added. They nodded again, Chanyeol and Tao playfully saluted to him, which made the others chuckle.

"The meeting.. is adjourned. Good night, guys."

Confessions

Eunji-Kris

▶ The rest of EXO had spent good, friendly times with Rain Pack. Kris and Eunji was an exception. Ever since they met, they always acted cold towards ach other. So, Kris himself wanted to start an apology before his confession, but the awkward silence just made him hesitate.

..."H-Hey, I--" they both said at the same time, which only made the athmosphere even more awkward, they looked down in embarassment.

"Y-You first," Eunji said. Kris stayed silent and bit his bottom lip.

"S-So..." he started. She raised an eyebrow at him. He took a deep breath and finally...

"Look, I just wanna apologize for being cold around you. I didn't really mean to, actually. I was just teasing you the first time we met, I didn't mean to.. offend you."

Eunji smiled a bit and let out a soft, short chuckle. "I-It's okay. Me too, actually. I'm sorry if I've been doing or saying something harsh on you. It feels like one dominant part of me is cringing," she said.

"I actually fell in love with you at first sight," they both whispered at the same time, again. That made them widen their eyes in surprise and smile at each other.

Kyori-Suho

▶ Two angelic wolves sitting together in one room. What could possibly be wrong? Perhaps the awkward Suho or the unexperienced Kyori? Could be, but Suho's not that awkward tonight.

"So, how's living here so far?" he asked, trying to make the athmosphere comfortable. Kyori smiled and stretched her arms on her thighs.

"It's... nice. I think it's way better than our own den," she sighed. Suho smiled back and after a few seconds, he made the move.

"Remember when we first met in the coffee shop?" She nodded.

"Since you, Haera, and Eunji were there and Chanyeol's been staring at Haera all the time, I couldn't even blow my mind off of you. The moment you fainted, I couldn't help but to rush and save you. You could've hit your head on the floor if I hadn't been there," he said, slowly caressing her cheek, making her blush.

"Well, ever since I saw you, I never thought you were a wolf. I thought you were some kind of angel that saved me, and you were," she smiled and stared intensely into his eyes. "I never even knew that I'd fall in love that fast."

He smiled at her statement.

Haeri-Baekhyun

▶ Holding hands while walking, they finally reached Baekhyun's room. It was all white-colored despite to Baekhyun's black fur, much to Haeri's surprise. And, wow. It was surprisingly clean for a troublemaker like him.

He must've cleaned his room for me. How sweet~ - Haeri.

"Wah.. Your room's nice~ It's kinda pretty," she smiled as she glanced the room, spinning around in her spot. Baekhyun chuckled.

"Well, it's pretty, alright... just like you," he suddenly blurted out. Haeri froze and blushed, making him chuckle in satisfaction. Haeri shook her thoughts off and sat down on his bed beside him.

"Hey, I wanna ask you... What happened when you were in the forest? Why were you out in the forest so late?" he asked.

There was a moment of silence before Haeri giggled and shook her hands. "It was nothing. It's just that I did something and Eunji unnie grounded me. I was so bored, I took a walk in the forest, but.. since it was getting dark, I tried to find a way back, but I was lost. Then I heard you howl, then I felt safe with someone beside me," she explained.

Baekhyun chuckled. "Well, for me, I was out hunting for a snack. But it turned out, there wasn't even a single wild hare wandering in the forest. I looked and looked for hours, when I suddenly gave up, but it was night already, and I was way far from the den. So, I just found a hill and sang a howl to calm myself down.

"But then.. I saw you. You and your beautiful face. Maybe you can have invisibility powers, but you will never ever take my eyes off of you," he said and moved closer to her ear. "I fell for you, Haeri-ah.."

Haera-Chanyeol

▶ Haera chuckled as she saw Chanyeol's room.

"Same old, same old, Yeollie. I still remember your style," she chuckled playfully. Chanyeol smiled and wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

"Can't believe after how many years in Japan, you still remember everything about me. I mean, yep, everything," he giggled, making her giggle as well.

Then she looked down. "You know what, Channie?"

"What?"

She sighed. "I really missed you. Ever since I moved, I couldn't stop thinking about you. You're my one and only best friend. No one can ever replace you," she said and hugged his waist. He smiled and hugged her back, slightly swaying her from side to side.

"I missed you too, Haera-ah. I missed you too."

Youngwoo-Luhan

▶ An unlikely couple. A shy, awkward tomboy and a usually-hyper, talkative, baby-faced guy. Youngwoo is not used to being with boys, except for her brother. She and Luhan had an extremely quiet and awkward scene.

"Hey.. How's your shoulder? Is it fine?" she asked, trying to start a conversation.

Luhan smiled and massaged his shoulder lightly. "Yeah. It's getting better in time. Yixing also helped in healing," he said, smiling.

"I still haven't forgot when I scratched you. I'm still sorry for it.." she mumbled in a guilty tone and looked down.

"Well, I'm lucky I have this. That way, I can easily remember you anytime and anywhere," he smirked as he said that, which made her blush.

She began stuttering in her awkwardness. "W-W-Well, y-you're welcome, I guess?" she smiled sheepishly at him, he smiled back and nodded cutely.

Chaehwa-Xiumin

▶ "Ladies first," Xiumin slightly bowed, letting Chaehwa giggle and walk in. She almost had her jaw drop at the really clean and neat room. Not even a single dirt could be seen in his light brown room.

"Gosh. You're such a neat freak, huh?" she pulled a poker face and pouted. Xiumin chuckled.

"You're lucky you have me because you won't really have to do the cleaning which --I'm guessing-- you don't like, right?" he teased, making her lightly punch his shoulder.

They giggled for a while and they sat down on his bed. "Yah, your voice was so good. It was so the same when you sang along in the gig," she smiled.

"Yeah, I'm pretty much good.. But I'm sure your voice is sweeter and... Yah, you promised singing for me someday, remember?" he recalled. Chaehwa pressed her lips into a straight line and bit her top lips.

"Hmm... Maybe someday, but not right now."

Xiumin pouted at her, then showed her a bit of his aegyo, making her giggle at his cuteness despite his age (being the oldest in EXO).

Chohee-Chen

▶ Here's another unlikely couple. A prankster, quite naughty wolf and a quiet, cold, a bit mysterious wolf. How will it turn out? Chen is making his move in a few seconds... Minutes...

"Hey, Chohee..."

She stared at him. He suddenly thought of a plan.

"Yah, Chohee-ah.. You should stop looking like that. You should smile sometimes," he told her. She looked down.

"I-I don't know, Jongdae. I always look like this. I rarely even smile self-consciously. I only smile when I'm in a very very happy mood," she said.

"Then are you happy being here with me?"

"Yeah, of course."

"Well, please. Try, for me."

She sighed and stayed silent, before finally looking at him and smiled, for the very first time in her life. Chen's jaw dropped.

"Oh. My. God. You-look-like-a-totally-different-person! You should smile more often!" he exclaimed, which made Chohee giggle, widening her smile.

She's never smiled like this ever before, not before she met Chen. She fell in love with him, that's how she never felt so happy before.

Jaerin-Lay

"Hey, that.. Hyunwoo boy, the one I healed when we first met... Is he, like, your little brother?" he finally asked. Jaerin smiled and shook her head.

"No. He's just one of the naughty boys in an orphanage. He usually wanders off without telling us, typical."

Lay smiled. He was happy to be having a filial, kind, warm-hearted girl, who's pretty much like himself.

"How did you manage to find him back then? He was in a dark alley, and he usually stays silent when he's lost," she asked him, curious.

"Well, I kinda heard someone crying a bit from afar, so I searched for the sound and turned out it was Hyunwoo. He hurt his knee from falling, so I healed him," he explained. She smiled at him.

"Thank you... for saving him."

Raena-Tao

▶ They entered the room, which was all light blue-colored. She smiled and sat down on Tao's bed, which is the softest amongst the other beds.

"Wuah... It's really soft... I like it~~" she said and made herself comfortable in the bed.

"Yeah, mine's the softest in the den, so don't bother sleeping in here, RaeRae~," he smiled at the mention of her nickname, which made her punch his shoulder playfully.

She stayed silent for a while, remembering when she first met him. "Yah, why did you have to steal a kiss on me? I blushed the whole week back then," she pouted. He giggled.

"I just felt like it. Ever since I saw you, it's like... You just seem so cute even for a black wolf like yourself..." he said, making her blush.

"Gege, I'm not cute.." she retorted. "Yes you are!" Tao pinched her cheek, making her giggle and pinch his cheek in return.

Anha-Sehun

▶ All Omegas would play all the time, but not tonight. Anha and Sehun were quite quiet, desipte the fact that they are the hyper ones in the group. Moreover, they are the youngers of both packs.

"Anha-ah?" he started. She raised an eyebrow at him.

"Did you like the performance?"

She nodded and smiled. "Yep. It was cool, with all the microphones, lighting, and stuff. You guys seem like K-Pop idols, seriously," she smiled sheepishly.

"I'm glad you liked it. We practiced hard for that, you know.. I guess it wasn't a useless training, right?" he said. She nodded in agreement.

"I like your rap, Hunnie. You should teach me sometimes~~" she chirped. He chuckled. "Yeah, maybe some other time. I promise I'll teach you~~," he held out his pinky and Anha linked hers with his, smiling.

Jinae-D.O

▶ Girls' POV:

He put his hands on mine. He began to tell me something.

"You know, in the full moon, when a female and male wolf kiss, they make this some kind of relationship, like a bond to each other. They'll be mates forever," he explained.

"Yeah..." I said. He then looked intensely into my eyes. The world seemed to slow down as our eyes met. "Will you, ________, do the honor to be my mate?"

I gasped at this.

▶ Author's POV:

Exo asked the girls to be their mates, even though they knew the consequences. Rain Pack, who had loved them in all their hearts, willingly accepted.

▶ Girls' POV:

We stared into each other's eyes, smiling. As we leaned closer, the full moon arrived. Closing our eyes, our lips made contact.

We kissed, starting to make the bond. It was soft yet passionate, it was the first kiss I ever had in my life. He pulled me into a hug and pinned me down on the bed, making my heart beat like crazy.

His tongue brushed against my bottom lip, asking for entrance. I managed a light giggle and opened my mouth. With his tongue exploring my mouth, it suddenly felt like heaven. He pulled away softly and slowly, leaning his forehead on mine, smiling. I smiled back at him. He traced his fingers to my left neck, smiling.

"It worked," he stated.

The Bond had formed. We had a tattoo with the same symbol on our left necks. "We're mates now," he said.

 

▶ The next day...

I moaned as I woke up, blinking as my eyes adjusted the brightness. My eyes glanced around the room, noticing a pair of arms wrappde around my waist. I slowly turned my torso around, gasping as I saw my mate sleeping peacefully beside me.

I didn't freak out, I stayed still in my position. I studied his handsome features before they woke up.

Then I realized... I was sleeping in his room the whole night.
