Teaser 8: Lost in the Woods

"Hyung, where've you been?" Sehun asked as Suho entered the house.
"I told Yeol I'm in the hospital for the night, didn't I?" Suho furrowed his eyebrows, eyeing at Chanyeol.
He looked away, eyes wandering at all directions. Suho growled at him.
"You didn't tell them!?" he barked. He looked down, twisting the corner of his lips.
"Mianhae, hyung," he muttered.
"Gosh. It's 4 o'clock and you just arrived?" Chen asked, raising an eyebrow at him.
Suho rolled his eyes at him, ignoring the question.
Tao suddenly walked in.
"Ge, have you seen Baekhyun around?" he asked.
"How should I know? He's probably hunting or walking out on the woods," Lay shrugged.
Baekhyun.. at the other side of the woods...
He changed into human form in tiredness.
"Why do deers never come out at a time like this?" he asked himself, running in the woods.
He changed forms again to run faster.
He actually wanted to hunt a small snack, but turned out, no deer or even a small rabbit came into sight.
One hour... Two hours.. Three hours...
It was night. Baekhyun lost his way in the forest.
"Aish! I shouldn't have gone this far! Otokhae?" he groaned.
He was alone, by the way. With only the moon and his power shining his way.
He decided to calm himself, walking to an upper ground.
Clear, no trees, only the moonlight shining the grass.
He sat down on the top and sighed.
He looked up to the moon, smiling. Calming himself down, he howled a song.
When he is in a stress, he loves to howl in the night.
Suddenly, he felt a presence behind him.
He turned, catching a glimpse of a girl before she made herself invisible. He furrowed his eyebrows.
"Yah, show yourself. I saw you," he said.
She didn't respond, so he walked a bit forward and changed forms.
The girl realized this, showed herself and changed forms as well. Baekhyun widened his eyes at the girl.
Straight brown hair, pure skin, cute eyes...
"What's your name?" he asked. She looked down, then gulped.
"Hana," she muttered. Baekhyun smirked.
"Come on. I know you're lying. Tell me your real name," he insisted. She chuckled lightly and looked at him.
"You're the first guy not to get tricked by this. Choneun Song Hae Ri imnida. I'm a Beta in my pack," she said. Baekhyun smiled a cute eyesmile at her.
"Byun Baekhyun imnida, also a Beta," he said.
"What are you doing here?" she asked. Baekhyun chuckled and looked down.
"I got lost. So I decided to stay here for a while," he explained. She gasped at this.
"Mwo? Me too. I got lost, but then I heard someone howling, turns out to be you," she told him. He giggled and changed forms, she followed. Turns out, she was a white wolf.
"You wanna join in the howl?" he offered. She narrowed her eyes, hesitating.
"Suit yourself," he said, sitting down on the spot earlier. He continued his howl.

Haeri widened her eyes in awe. He had beautiful voice.
Wow. She thought.
Slowly, she walked forward, sitting beside him. She smiled sheepishly and finally decided to join the howl.
They howled beautifully. Baekhyun smiled in the howl.
After they finished, they awkwardly stare at each other.
"Your voice is beautiful," he told her, making her blush.
"Y-Yours too," she stammered, blushing redder.
"Shouldn't we find a way home now?" he asked, she nodded and smiled.
Soon enough, they found a way out of the forest.
"So, you want me to walk you home?" Baekhyun offered.
"Ani. I'll take it from here," she reassured him. They looked away, for a second, then awkwardly and surprisingly made eye contact.
Haeri gasped and looked away, blushing. Baekhyun chuckled and scratched the back of his neck.
"So.. I'll.. um.. see you again, someday?" he awkwardly said. She nodded, before they bid goodbye and seperated.
Baekhyun-ah... Your howl seriously made me blush... - Haeri.
Haeri, I love your voice... - Baekhyun.
