Aria stopped in her tracks and dragged him to her car and they drove off before anyone else could notice their disappearance. She sped her way to the hospital and found that the other brothers were already there.

“So you heard?” CAP asked him as they arrived to the nurse’s desk.

“Yeah, Chunji called me. When can we see him?” L.Joe asked back. He looked at the room and saw that the door was closed.

“They’re having us go in one at a time, so that we don’t all alarm him and raise his heart rate too quickly. So right now is Ricky, after that it’s Changjo’s turn and then you can go in.” CAP explained and they saw Chunji come back with two cups in his hand.

“Oh, you guys made it. Come, let’s sit over there while we wait,” He said, handing the coffee to CAP and gestured at the empty waiting chairs. They all moved towards it and sighed.

Finally, after so long, their older brother had finally woken up. It had taken him a while, but the accident was pretty severe but L.Joe hoped that his brother remembered him at least. He had heard that coma patients could get amnesia in the beginning.

They all heard the door open and watched as Ricky walked out with his tear-stained face and Changjo walk in right after him.

“You can go first, Byunghun.” Misun told him and she sat there, fiddling with her fingers. She was nervous, she hadn’t seen her oppa in a while and she wasn’t sure how he would feel about her relationship with his brother.

“Okay, are you sure you don’t want to go first?” He asked her. He was grateful that she had offered but he still had to be a gentleman.

“Yes, I’m sure. He’s your blood relative, you should go first.” She insisted and they sat in silence again until Changjo came out. He had also been crying and that’s when Byunghun stood up and walked inside. She sighed to herself as she started to wait.

The others were around her but it wasn’t the same. They didn’t know her, they didn’t know what she did. What Andy helped her with. She would never tell them, of course.

“So how did your race go?” Chunji asked her to try and lighten up the atmosphere.

“I won. Tony was mad. But he won’t do anything because he signed a legally binding contract over the outcome of the race. And as much as he wants my crown, Tony doesn’t want to lose money.” Aria explained to them.

CAP grinned happily, “Good. I knew you would beat him anyway.” He said.

“It was close though. Tony races an Aston Martin Vanquish and it gets to 60 faster than my car does. But he modified it to have a huge spoiler which made up the difference.” Aria told him.

“Really? It made that much of a difference?” Chunji asked her.

“It’s either that or he doesn’t know how to drive his car.” Aria said with a shrug. “In any case, I’m not allowed to use Nos in my next race. So I’m gonna have to find a friend to race.” She chuckled.

“You can do that? Just fix it?” CAP asked her.

“Not really fix it? Just not lose my reputation. Besides, they always get free food whenever I win anyway.” Aria said. 

They heard the door open again and L.Joe came out, he hadn’t been crying but Aria could see the relief on his face when he walked out. She walked up to him as she tried to comfort him. 

“I’m fine. Don’t worry about it. He wants to talk to you though.” L.Joe told her. “I told him, about us.” 

“You did?” She asked him. She gulped, nervous now, he always needed to approve the guys that she surrounded herself with. That was another reason why she hadn’t had a boyfriend this whole time she was with the midnight track.

“He is fine. Just talk to him. He’s been worried about you.” L.Joe said, gesturing for her to go inside, “I’ll wait out here for you.” He moved to sit down in the closest chair to the door.

“Okay.” Aria said nervously, opening the door slowly and making eye contact with Andy.

“It’s been a while.” He told her.

“Yes, it has.” She replied, closing the door behind her.

“Take a seat, we have a lot to talk about.”
