He grew more nervous as they approached the car. Niel had not been driving long either. But he was better than Changjo, for sure. 

Aria casually walked along towards the car. She stretched her arms over her head in happiness.

"Come on, kid. Let's get this over with." She said, climbing into the passenger seat.

"What if I do bad?" Niel asked her. "What if we crash?"

"We won't crash. I took over Changjo and I can do the same for you. But you will probably do bad. I don't expect any of you younger ones to win." Aria said.

"So the real contest is between my older brothers?" Niel asked, as he climbed into the driver's seat. His hands shook a little as he grew more nervous.

They watched as Hyeongkon stole another kiss from Mia before he climbed into his own car. 

"Yes," Aria said, "It is definitely between your older brothers. More experience and definitely more knowledge of a car."

"So I shouldn't be as worried then." Niel said, pulling his car to the starting line. He let out a long sigh as he tried to ease his anxiety.

Mia stood in the middle once more as she waited to signal them to go. They got ready and just before Mia said go, Niel floored it. He freaked out as he went around the loop once and Mia stood safely on the side with the rest of the boys as he came back around.

“You started early.” Aria said calmly as they arrived back at the starting line again. She had a feeling this would happen but eventually she would have to give it up.

“I know. I just reacted and pressed the gas to go.” Niel said, “I’m sorry.”

“It’s fine, we just have to go again, that’s all. I’m glad I didn’t let you drink that soda.” She said, chuckling to herself. She rolled down the window, “Mia come back. We have to start over again.”

“Too excited there, kid?” Hyeongkon teased from his car. “You have to wait for the go.”

“I know. It was an accident.” Niel admitted. “I’m sorry.”

“It’s fine. If it happens again, let’s just go?” Hyeongkon asked Aria. “He can have the slight head start. I will still win anyway right?” He winked at his girl.

“Don’t need to get cocky, Hyeongkon. I’m sure someone will beat you.” Aria replied as they started up again. They waited at the start and Mia signaled the go again. Niel had gotten a slight head start but Hyeongkon easily made up the difference around the first bend. Aria watched Niel’s grip on the steering wheel tightened. His knuckles were turning white and he slowed down a little out of fear.

“Relax.” She told him.  “You need to calm down and press the gas. You have to go faster.” She said as Hyeongkon took the lead in the inner lane right in front of them.

“I can’t. What if we crash?” He asked, thinking which was a distraction and he slowed down again.

“We won’t. I just made sure Changjo didn’t crash so now go faster and press the gas.” She repeated again.

Niel gulped as he did what she said, he floored it. They tailed Hyeongkon closely as they finished the first lap and headed into the second. 

“Tilt the wheel slightly so you don’t jerk around the turns. They’re a bit sharp and for you, it’ll cause an accident if you don’t prepare the car.” Aria instructed and he did what she said, easing into the turn just as Changjo did.

Hyeongkon pressed his Nos, zooming across the finish line. Niel reached to do the same thing and Aria stopped him. “Not for you. I want you to learn how to drive it in.”

“Okay.” Niel said and he pressed the gas harder as they passed the finish line as well. He eased off it slowly as they went around another loop to slow down. 

“Press the gas slowly as we approach the finish line. If you jerk the car, the speed will kill us or give us whiplash.” Aria said and he nodded as he followed her words.

They stopped right before the line as Niel got out of the car and ran for solid ground. He hugged Ricky tightly as he thanked the heavens for letting him get that over with.

Aria laughed as she got out of the car. “Well, that was just the younger ones. Time to play now, right, Mr. Cocky?” She asked, gesturing at CAP.

He smirked at her, “Prepare to be amazed, teacher.”
