"Eunjoo-ah..." He repeats like a sweet song into my ears. I want to walk away but his warmth entraps me, without much effort.
I lean back onto him instinctively. "Lay..." I say finally answering him.
"Eunjoo, we need to talk." He says pulling away from my back and taking his place at my side. He holds my hand and pulls me forward. "Is your Omma working tonight?"
I nod.
"Good, we'll talk at yours... there's alot of stuff I need to explain." He says with rushed words.
We arrive at my house and as soon as we're away from reality his arms wrap around my small body, holding me he sighs. "I need this..."
I let my hands crawl up his back and grab onto his white shirt. "I'm sorry." I say.
He pulls me to arms length and shakes his head. "No it's I who should be sorry, I understand your confusion and hurt." He steals a swift kiss. "It's because of me, all of this is because of me."
"I-"
He doesn't let me talk, instead he blurts out. "She's my fiance... I know it's crazy and I should have told you about her but- I thought my Abeuji had rid of those stupid merging plans months ago. I told him I didn't want to marry to help his company when he started this stupid thing."
"It's... an arranged marriage."
He nods. "Isn't that obvious, she isn't my type at all."
"I-- I didn't know."
He shakes his head. "I didn't think she'd come here. I thought she'd stay in China and it would be cancelled without having to see her again." He sighs and says carefully. "When we met before, we were too young to marry."
"How long have you known about her?" I feel some sort of sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. "Has she been your fiance all this time?" I stop and then ask. "Since before I even moved back to Seoul?"
He looks away from me, that guilty look says it all. "I-- I met her back in Elementary school. There was an agreement that we'd marry after we graduated High School... that's why she's come back in the picture because we're going to be graduating soon."
