“Shin!” shinhye look up and smile at Cho, cho changed a lot after being with jonghyun, she became her own self. Shinhye

can’t deny that she is indeed happy to see cho like that. “cho, hi” she said gathering her books to the side. She is on one of

the tables on the school garden, “huh? Still studying? We just fished out exams right?” Cho asked her, “just advance reading”

she replied and decided to close the book, she knows Cho will just nag her. “how’s your love life?” Cho asked excitedly,

shinhye was caught off guard, of all the question she could ask, she happen to choose that one.  “uhm, he is….” “Shin!!”

shinhye got her eye brows arched. She and cho look at the direction where they heard someone called her, her eyes widen

seeing her “boyfriend” jung yong hwa. “hey there girlfriend! I miss you!” he yelled making everyone, especially those who

knows her look at her, and him. She silently cursed him, and sends dagger stares at him, until he reached them, shinhye

glance at Cho who is now looking like she is watching some chick flick in a big screen. Shinhye smiled awkwardly when cho

look at her with a big smile.  “hey, you still have classes?” he asked sitting beside her, she look at cho first, then turn to

yonghwa with a fake smile. “why are you here? Aren’t outsiders not allowed to enter here” “I’m not an outsider, I am

studying here” he whispered to shinhye. Shinhye heard cho giggled. “what are you two whispering about?” Cho asked, and

of course she is so giddy. Well shinhye can’t blame her, she had never introduce a boy in the family, she asked Cho the

other day not to tell anyone in their family about this at first. Cho asked too many questions, questions that honestly, she

can’t answer. In the end Cho agree on her little request. “secret” yonghwa said to Cho with a mischievous grin.

 

 

 

 

 

“what are really doing here? If the guard caught you, I swear” “hey yong!” shinhye was interrupted with her long monologue

when someone called her “boyfriend”. Luckily Cho left them alone, she is really pissed seeing this guy here, unannounced.

“hey steven, long time no see” the guy steven reached their post. Shinhye take turns on looking at the two guys who are

talking enthusiastically. “oh by the way, this is my girl, Shinhye Park, this is steven smith, my friend and classmate” “yeah, ex

classmate, you don’t go to class often, I don’t know how many excuses I have to fill that absence.” Steven said chuckling.

Yonghwa look at her embarrassed she just smirked. “oh, hey, nice seeing you and I hope you’ll go back to class soon, I

don’t think your parents will be happy knowing this” yonghwa nod with a big smile on his face, shinhye thought he must

have been really close to that steven. “so, you are a student here?” she asked him. He nod then look at her. “and you are

cutting classes? What are you? Higschool?” she uttered mockingly, he shook his head still smiling. She can’t help but to

notice his crooked teeth, for some reason, that flaw made him uniquely handsome. “what?” she asked herself, she shrug the

thought out of her head instantly. She is checking him out, she barely know him, and with just looking at him he is really

the opposite of the man she wanted. Her eyes caught jonghyun and cho walking hand in hand and obviously happy and

inlove. She can’t help but to feel envy of her cousin. Jonghyun is the perfect description of what she wanted for a guy but

then again, he is in love with her cousin. When she notice that they are heading their post, she immediately stood up from

the bench and drag yonghwa. She doesn’t want to talk to them for now. She confessed with jonghyun, and she notice that

day when they all accidentally met at yong’s apartment building, he is looking at her like she is the most pitiful person right

now. She didn’t like it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yonghwa sighed inside, he saw cho and jonghyun coming their way, so when shinhye abruptly stood up and drag him

toward only she knows where, he didn’t complain. For two weeks they are playing this so called couple relationship, at first

he is kinda hesitant, of course, who wouldn’t some stranger will come up to you and ask you to be your boyfriend just to

look happy, or pretend to be happy. “Stranger?” someone inside his head uttered, he can see that he is smiling at him

mocking him.  He glance at shinhye and her hand firmly holding his. He smiled. He remembered the first time he saw her

was at the line on the first day of enrollment. He didn’t want to take business related course, he doesn’t even want to be in

LA. He wanted to study in New York, he is interested in Music, ever since he is young. But his parents insisted on the

business course, as the eldest and only guy among his siblings he is the only one who will take care of the family business.

He is feeling exhausted when all of a sudden a loud girl caught his attention, he looked at her, but his eyes landed on the

other girl beside the loud girl. She is wearing a simple pants, white shirt, sneakers, backpack and her hair is tied into a

messy bun. Though he is just looking from a far, like 12 steps away from them, he can see her beautiful eyes thru that black

rimmed eye glasses. She looks Asian. Right then, he manage to follow the girl, he didn’t even know the name, all he knows

is that, she is making him stay in that university. But his hopes of knowing her came tumbling down when he saw her with a

guy. He must admit, they look comfortable and good with each other. Right then,  he decided to stop stalking her, it’s no

use. And as fate is on his side that one night, she asked him to be her boyfriend. He knows that she is drunk and probably

just saying things out of her knowing. But seeing the stare with some guys are her in that club that night. He didn’t have a

choice. He agreed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“so, where are we going honey?” shinhye stopped walking, she didn’t know why, but her heart skip a beat hearing his voice

saying that endearment. She shook her head, and turn to face the smirking yonghwa. Her ends landed on their intertwined

hands. She must admit, she felt comfort holding his hand, like her hand is molded for his. “stop it shinhye” her mind

reminded her. She pulled away instantly, she didn’t know if she’s only imagining it, but she saw his expression changed, his

smile became, sad? He sighed and look down only to look up again and the warm smile is back again. “where are we

going?” he asked again. Its shinhye’s time to sigh and look away. “I don’t know, I just.. I just want to get out of there. It’s

too… boring..” she reasoned. Yonghwa smirked. “boring?” he asked with his one eyebrow arched. Shinhye didn’t tried to

look at him. She knows he is mocking her again, with the tone of his voice, she can’t be wrong. He is a total troll. “okay, let’s

go to the club then” he suddenly said. “club? I don’t like it there” she blurted. He placed his right hand on this chin and rubs

it a little, acting like he is thinking. “oh, I got it” he said suddenly, making shinhye look at him. “what?” she asked. “what time

your next class gonna end?”  he asked. Shinhye looked at her wrist watch. “I still got two more, which means, 6pm” she said.

Yonghwa squinted his eyes and shook his finger and head at her. “bwo?” she asked. “you are cutting classes missy, and you

are coming with me” he said and without any warning, he dragged shinhye to his motorcycle, “this is going to be our first

date as a couple honey.” He said smiling while putting the helmet on her head.
