“omma, appa, I’m so sorry about this” shinhye lowered her head. She and yonghwa was summoned to the Park residence the next

morning, her omma sighed, “we are not mad honey, disappointed, yes, but not mad” shinhye slowly look at her parents, she feel

relieved seeing smiles on their faces, “komawo omma, appa” she said. Mr. Park look at yonghwa, “so, you two met in L.A?” her father

asked yonghwa. “yes sir” Mr. park nod. “so hongki know about this?” her mom asked again. Shinhye look at yonghwa, yonghwa got it,

she doesn’t need to speak. “yes ma’am, we all talk about this, I didn’t want be her husband not until I got something to be proud

of, she doesn’t deserve a husband that’s just a DJ, I finished my studies and maters degree to be able to be worthy of your daughter

ma’am, sir” he said shinhye smiled inside, she knows that he is just saying that for her parents to be impress, but inside her, she

can’t hide the happiness, it felt real for her. “well yonghwa ssi, as we can see, you are now worthy for her” her father said. Mr. Park

stood up and walk towards yonghwa, yonghwa instinctively stood too, mr. Park offered his hand. “welcome to the family son” Mr.

park offered his hand to yonghwa. Shinhye was surprise that her dad didn’t made a fuss with their “marriage” she’s an only child and

her parents are really over protective of her, but now, yonghwa just get her parents approval just like that.

Shinhye look at her parents marriage portrait that’s hanged in the living room. Just like few days ago, she never wanted to be in that

position, though, she knows hongki and her are together, and he merely propose to her, and she could have said yes to it, Marriage

is still far from what she want. She wanted to focus on her position at the station.  She didn’t know why her mom wanted her to

date, or rather setting her up on dates, knowing that she and hongki are together. Hongki is perfect candidate to be a husband, as

for her, if she will be married.. well in her situation now.. again, it will be hongki. “dal, I know now why you didn’t agree on those

dates I set you up with” shinhye didn’t realize that her mom is now standing beside her. “omma,… I..” “he loves you dear, I can see

that, he wanted to be worthy of you, that’s very noble of him. But why do I feel something strange between the two of you?”

shinhye furrowed her brows. Her mother sighed. “dal, I am your mother, I can see right thru you, and I know there’s something you

are not telling us” her mother face the portrait. “remember our love story, the one I told you before?” her mother said looking at her

father’s face. Shinhye smiled and nod. “we are not in love at first, I got to marry a man I met for a week only, but as time goes by, I

realize that he is slowly entering my heart. He admitted that he likes me, he loves me so he didn’t disagree with his parents. He had

been selfish, but now, I am thanking him for doing that, I have found my destiny. For you shinhye-ah, I think he is your destiny. That

guy” shinhye followed her mom’s gaze, looking at the garden, where yonghwa and her father is playing chess.

While they are having dinner, yonghwa can’t help but to glance at shinhye, the way she smile at her parents while they are talking,

made him happy, she was like so strong and reserve when she’s facing others but infront of her parents, she loosen up, she became

just a daughter who loves her parents. Yonghwa turn to look at Mr. Park, he felt embarrassed when he realize he is looking at him

with amusement. “so, when will you be planning to give us our first grandchild?” shinhye choked on that question, yonghwa

attentively, pats her back and gave water to her. Shinhye gulped the water and look at her dad. “appa, I don’t think that question is

appropriate during meal time.” Shinhye uttered, yonghwa tired to suppress his laughter seeing the flushed face shinhye is having.

“dal, you are already 27, your cousin cho is already pregnant, and as far as we know you are married first before her and jonghyun.

Yonghwa saw the change of expression on her face. He cant help but to feel sad. Jonghyun, he is the guy that she likes back then,

the one that put them in this situation. “omma, we are not in a hurry” “we are planning on that later tonight” shinhye widen her

eyes in shock and abruptly look at yonghwa, she was shock hearing that, she reached for his hand under the table but he move away

quickly, she gritted her teeth and smile at him. “I don’t think its nice to talk about that with my parents right?” with she elbowed

him instead. “okay, we’ll wait for the good news yonghwa, I hope its sooner.” Yonghwa look at shinhye mother who just spoke. “yes

omoni, we’ll be working on that” yonghwa look at shinhye with a big grin on his face. She wanted to evaporate in that instant. Her

parents and her “husband” is talking about her getting pregnant, what is she, a project?

“hey, why are you so quiet?” yonghwa tapped her on the shoulder, she shrug him off. “hey, are you mad?” shinhye key in her

passcode on her front door and went inside, yonghwa pouted and just follow her. “hey, talk to me” yonghwa uttered again. Shinhye

angrily face him making him flinch as he saw her dagger eyes looking straight at him. “what?” he asked. “what?” she asked

sarcastically. He nod. Apparently he is still clueless with shinhye’s anger. “you gave false hopes to my parents, me? Getting pregnant?

Huh! Yonghwa a Lie is a Lie, but you should have not convey on what my parents craziness. You just made it worse” she said then sat

on the couch. “bwo? You are acting like that because of the pregnancy issue? You’re so childish” yonghwa said. “huh? Me childish,?

May I remind you, this is just pretend, sooner we should be having problems, they should see it, and we will be divorcing” she said.

She can’t tell but, she saw a hint of hurt in his eyes, but it suddenly disappears. “sorry for being so into the Lie, for all I know, we

should be playing a happy couple for a while before that divorce” just like that he left her speechless and confuse. “what’s with

him?”

tada!! 2 updates!! how are you guys? have you been well?

well I just ended my other fanfic and now, I want to concentrate with this one,

oh by the way, this fic, will probably, having 20-25 chapters only,

feel free to comment please, as I said before your comments helped me alot,

pitching in ideas, or something.
